Review: Dropped off six shirts and a tie for cleaning service 1 May 13 approximately 1830 hrs. Owner informed me he would take my items for service and pickup on Saturday however I would be denied service from here on out because I had not brought him any items to dry clean. He stated because I had only brought him laundry items (shirts) during my previous visits that he would deny me service and I had to go somewhere else to be serviced. There is no sign or policy that states you must bring in only "dry clean items" to be cleaned and therefore I feel this is a form of discrimination and unfair customer service practice. Not that I am going to use them again after I pick up my shirts but this should not be a standard practice for any dry cleaners who have not clearly marked what their service is going to be. If that is the case I suggest he put up a sign that reads "dry clean items only" in his establishment.Desired Settlement: I would like a formal apology and also a change in store policy. Either he accepts all items to be cleaned, dry or laundry, or service dry clean items only. He should not be allowed to dictate who he services unless his store policy is clear and concise where everyone can see it.
Review: I took my winter white suit in to be cleaned because the pants hem was soiled. Although there are other cleaners nearby, I chose this one because it cost more therefor I expected better cleaning services. When I went to pick up the suit on Thursday , I noticed that the pants were still soiled. The lady said she would try to re clean it and I could pick it up tomorrow. I paid $13 and left. Today, when is returned the man was at the counter. As I was checking the pants, he remarked that my suit was dirty. I remarked I know that's why I brought it to the cleanser. At this time he told me that it was soiled and that he did the best he could. I remarked that my suit was the same as when I brought it in. He said what did I want him to do. Before I could say anything he went to the register, took out $13 and threw it at me. He also said that I probably do that all the time. I remarked no, and that I came to his cleaners because I thought they could clean my suit since they cost more. He then called me stinky and said that it had been seven months since my last time there . He also said I must wear dirty clothes and to leave his shop.Desired Settlement: I have never felt so disrespected before in my life. Even when I tried to compare my job as a teacher and that I was an expert at what I do, I only expected the same from him. I stated this because I told him he should have told me that he could not clean my suit and I would have just went some place else. He stated that I did not ask him if he could clean my suit. He was just unnecessarily rude and disrespectful.
