Finally a company that can be trusted we received a call from a marketer wednesday with a promotion for a inspection for our ac unit it has been awhile so we asked for them come over saturday we were very pleased with Jr our tech he on time very capable to answer all are question and concerns our unit is about 10yrs old he left us a check list of what he inspected of our ac unit and some helpful recommendation with no pressure and his Business card to call him if we need his services in the future I will recommend this company to my family and friends thanks again it is refreshing to do business with someone you can trust
We had 24/7 come out and do a tune-up on our ancient gas furnace and close up our two evaporative coolers for the winter season. We had them replace our 1960s thermostat. They gave us a great price on a new digital one, and beat two other bids by a mile!
Our technician was a nice and polite young man, who handled his job with efficiency and professionalism.
We decided to have them continue to do work for us and purchased a maintenance agreement to keep our costs low.
We have recommended several other from our church, and they have also been very satisfied, too.
I have nothing good to say about them. Why? They never showed up. I waited 5 hours on Monday. I waited 4 hours on Tuesday. This was to get a bid for a new A.C, duct work and insulation. I don't know what the total would have been, but in the high high thousands I am sure. Yet, nothing. Ask yourself.... what could Junior have been doing that was so important he could not even CALL and tell me to not bother to wait. Instead I sat in a hot house waiting and waiting. He didn't even bother to apologize. All he mumbled is "when it rains it pours." Please ask yourself if this is the type of company you want to work with? I know my answer! Btw Yelp is pretty interesting too just for your information.
I received a telemarketing call from 24/7 Air Conditioning today. They obviously do not follow Federal telemarketing regulations, in that they do not check telephone numbers on the National "Do Not Call" list (as they are required to do at least every 30 days). In addition, I asked to be "Do Not Call", and agreed to do so; but when I asked them to send me a copy of their written "Do Not Call Policy" (which the Federal law required them to do upon request) they hung up on me!
I was ready to sell my house but my split air difference wasn't at par. I had a repair done on the condenser outside. My freon was low cause by a loose shader core valve. They were very honest and Thorell I will definatly be using them on the other house if any problems occur.
24/7 called me to tell me I had a free check up from a previous service call last year. When they came out I thought maybe the fan was running to much but it was heating. They went to check it and came back to tell me my ECM blower motor was bad and that caused possible damage to my compressor. It would be $1800 to fix the ECM motor and would I want to throw good money in this and maybe have to replace the compressor. Also they warned me it could start on fire. I'm a widowed senior and not versed on aC so it scared me to think of fire. They suggested I needed a new unit and kept pressuring me for one. I finally agreed and wrote them a check for 2600. They also tried to tell me the company that installed my present unit was out of business and didn't register it so the compressor won't be under warranty. Didn't sleep much that night and had a woman's intuition that something wasn't right especially since my unit was only 8 yrs. old, so in early morning I called my bank and had them stop payment on my check and as soon as I could get hold of them to cancel the whole thing. They did not give me any argument and did follow on the cancellation. When I got home from work, I called the company that installed the aC I have now ( and they are not out of business ) and the serviceman came out the same day to check it. After 20-30 min. on my roof, he told me there was nothing wrong with the unit and it was working great. I feel so scammed and would never recommend 24/7 AC to anyone. Buyer beware and I learned a valuable lesson..
I had a wonderful experience with the company. I received a phone call from one of their sales specialists, Nina, informing me of a Spring Special they were running for the annual tune-ups. I already had an apt. scheduled with another company who were charging me $50 more for the same service! She was very knowledgeable about the details of the maintenance and extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. I decided to book with her.
The technician gave me a courtesy call before arrival and got right to work. Not only did he check everything out, but cleaned and tightened everything up.
It was wonderful to have someone come out and do a wonderful job, without feeling like I was being ripped off and up-charged.
This is an amazing family owned company.
I recommend the company to anyone and everyone.
Received a telephone solicitation from 24/7 for a $29.99 A/C multi-point inspection. Since I had not had my AC inspected for over a year I decided to accept their offer. The serviceman was polite and informative, but at the completion informed me that the evaporator coils were greatly rusted and needed cleaning before further damage would occur. Somewhat skeptical, but uneducated in this area, I decided to go ahead, but was shocked to hear the cost would be $325. When questioned about the cost, I was told it was the high price of the chemicals needed to clean the coils and that I could not buy these myself at a store. The work was completed the next day and took only around 30 minutes to complete, using a spray can of Nu-Calgon Evaporator Coil Cleaner, rust inhibitor tablets and a coil cleaner spray which I watched the work being done. I later found on the internet that I could have purchased the Nu-Calgon spray for some $19 and the Nu-Calgon liquid (1 gal) for some $33 from Amazon.com. In my opinion, labor and material costs should not have come to more than $100. While I am not cancelling my payment, I am, however, greatly upset and disappointed as feel I was dupped by this company in doing a basic cleaning of coils that I now know I could have completed myself. I should have known better but didn't. Believe there are using the $29.99 special as a entry into homes and then to find "problems". The rust on the coils, I now understand, is a common situation with copper coils and moisture and can be handled with routine low cost maintenance. I certainly would not recommend this Company for any type of AC repair or maintenance.
