Hello,
We are sorry there seems to be some understanding regarding the facts of the situation in questionOn June 1, 2015, I had an appointment schedule outside of my business area (the city of San Diego) to provide an estimate for a faucet
repairI phoned three (3) times, with no response, approximately two (2) hours before heading out for the appointment in order to discuss the repair and the charge ($45) associate with going out of my business areaThe charge, $is not an estimate charge, but a trip charge for going outside of the business areaThis cost is then applied towards the cost of the repairs if hired to do the workAfter not hearing back from the owners, we made the assumption, due to past experience, that the customer was no longer in need of our serviceIt was rather unfortunate that it was not until the next day when I was able to speak with the owner that we learned our wires seemed to have been crossedWe did offer to make the trip out but understand that due to the situation she had made other arraignments for the repairsWe value our customers' time greatly and do not make it a practice to be a no call no showOur long track record of satisfied and returning customers shows just thisWe're happy to honor a $discount towards any future service as we believe you too would be a happy returning customerSincerely,

Thank you for the response from 24/Handyman.
To set the record straight, the only conversation I had with 24/Handyman was when I scheduled the apptHe did mentioned we lived outside of his area of service and the charge would be $He claims to have called twice, which he may have done...but not to my number as my phone is on 24/and no calls were received by him until the following day after I'd left multiple messages to call me about the missed apptfrom the day beforeI have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me
Consider this complaint resolved
