24/7 NY Web Design Reviews (1)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: On [redacted] and I began our meeting just before 2pmWe were scheduled for 2pm but I like to show up to meetings at least 10-15mins before they startI have time stamps on emails to prove we were scheduled for 2pmWhen I got there, I had him sign a NDA before we talked about anythingHe gave me a background of his career and how he started his company “24/NY Web Design”He talked about previous projects he’s worked on; he even showed me some of his work that he’s done in the pastThereafter, he asked me about my project and what it was exactly that I was looking for in my websiteSo we started discussing my project in its entire complexityBy the time we were finished discussing my project we started talking about paymentsAs [redacted] stated, I agreed to the package worth $3,and didn’t have the 50% deposit needed to start, so [redacted] and I agreed on me putting only $down for nowI didn’t have cash and it cost extra to use a debit/credit card, so I decided to go withdraw the funds from (my bank)The nearest Bank of America from ***’s office is 15mins away, so that’s where I wentI have a time stamp of my withdrawal made from my account at 3:07pm for $at the BOA nearest to ***’s officeIt was nowhere near 2pm when I left ***’s officeWhen I got back to the office from the bank it was around 3:40-3:45pm due to slight traffic from kids getting out of school and a small detour from getting lost because I wasn’t familiar with the areaWhen I finally got there [redacted] was on the phone with another client for about another 20mins right in front of meWhen he was finally done we started working on the contract and that took about another 25-30minsI did not leave ***’s office until around 4:40pm; I know this because I was dreading the traffic I was about to face, on my way out [redacted] even said it himself, that he was going to contact his programmers “tomorrow” and that he should have a homepage for me to look at (clearly stated in our contract) “on or before February [redacted] 2014” and that the homepage would be completed “on or before March [redacted] 2014”He was evidently in no rush to start because I did not give him the full deposit, he had nearly a month to make a homepage and a homepage should only take about minutes for a professional to createMoving forward, after realizing my project was not fully prepared to be developed, I called [redacted] around 1am February [redacted] to leave him a message telling him not to call his workers in the morning to start the project; I emailed him that morning as wellThe next morning around 9am [redacted] emailed me saying his “designers” already started working on my project and he sent me three links to look at; completely disregarding my request for him not to start the projectSo I called [redacted] right after I read his email, he said he had two designers work on my project so he was going to charge me $for each of them assuming they both worked on the page for an hour; which he had no proof of when I asked for a time sheet showing that two designers worked on my projectBesides the color and background images, all three homepages looked exactly the sameThere is no way you can give two different people a project and you get the exact same results [redacted] did mention to me, before our meeting, that even when he wasn’t in his office he could receive calls; all of his calls and emails show up on his cell phone so I strongly believe [redacted] did it himself after listening to my voicemail just so he can get some money off of meIf I left his office at 4:40pm how did he have his designers work for the 3hrs he claims they were left with? Also, if he doesn’t have his designers work past 5pm how did the three homepages get created in time for when he emailed them to me at 9:in the morning? In his response to my complaint, ***, claimed “by 5pm they had homepage designs for me to choose from” that is a lie because, as I said and proved before, I left his office around 4:40pm there was nothing for me to look at before I called with my decision to cancelI received the homepage designs the next morning after he got my messages for him not to start [redacted] never negotiated the refund total with me he told me he had two designers work on the homepages and that he was going to charge me for their services at “$each because each of them put in an hour’s work”I know basic coding and web designing and it would never take anyone hours to complete a basic home/login page with no personalized information added to it, let alone a professionalThe homepage designs he sent me was in the form of a templateThere was no personalized information from me added, besides the heading which isn’t even my name anymoreThere’s no way anyone would believe it took 3hrs to create what he sent meHowever, in his response now, he’s claiming that it didOn Friday 22014, After nearly 2wks of back and forth, [redacted] had enough of me calling and emailing him about my refund and mentioned how $dollars didn’t make a difference to his company and that he would write out a check, email me a copy of it [before] he sent it out so that I would know it was on its way, then mail it out to meI never received an email of that picture, instead, on that following Monday February ***, I received an email with an apology, form ***, stating that he forgot to send me a picture but he sent the check out on Friday, February [redacted] and that I should receive it in the mail “today or tomorrow” which was that day Monday or TuesdayBy this time of his email, I’m already on my way to his office to show him that he was charging me for a scam and that I wanted my full refund backStill, to this day I never got a check for any amount in the mail from [redacted] “owner of 24/NY Web Design”I don’t have to sign or do anything for what is already rightfully mineIf [redacted] would like me to compromise with him and sign a release form to remove any third party complaints then he will have to give me a refund of the full amount that I am asking for; which is $ [redacted] is very unprofessional and tells a lot of storiesBefore filing my complaint, [redacted] was very rude and kept giving me the run around about my refundHe saw a young girl who believed in her project and took complete advantage of my ambitious spirit$may not seem like a lot of money but for someone who just graduated from college that was hard earned moneyHe was given ample chances to refund me but he thought he could get away with being dishonestHe gave me too much time to realize who he is and what his company stands for and I despise dishonest companiesI have tried to be fair with [redacted] too many times and it hasn’t worked in my favor, so now I stand firmly behind my complaint and will not waver; I will take this as far as I have to until I obtain my full refund [redacted] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]
