I called 27/7 Locksmith based on their advertisements about affordable pricing. The technician called after being reached by dispatch and promised to be at my home by 11:00 AM but arrived at 5:00 PM. I called tge dispatcher twice and [redacted] directly to cancel the appointment because he was so late but he kept insisting that he was on his waybut delayed on another call. I asked him while he was on the phone about the $19 special. He then tells me that it will be $48. I told him that I wanted to cancel the appointment because that wasn't the price that I was quoted and I would seek elsewhere. [redacted] (the technician) kept saying that he could do it for the price originally quoted since it was an easy install and I had the lock already. [redacted] doors had sent a warranty replacement handle because it was tarnished. The replacement included a new lock and key and I didn't have the tools to complete the task. When [redacted] finally he agreed that it was simply but said that it was $48. I reminded him of our conversations and he said that he must charge me a service call fee for coming. I told him that I try to get him to not come but he insisted on coming anyway and then lied to me. I called the company and [redacted] invited himself into my home and sat down on my sofa to listen to the conversatio . The dispatcher told me that the price is whatever he said it was. I told [redacted] that I no longer wanted the install done but he insisting on the service fee of $19. I gave him a $20. [redacted] then tells me that since I canceled the appointment with the company, he would still do the install for $20 extra! I told him to get out of my house and to leave. He kept saying that the company wouldn't know and that he was already here so it would cost me $48 total. I told him to leave my house immediately! He reluctantly left but did noy five me my change. I called the company and told them what he'd done and the offer he made to undercut them and in all likelihood, he done it before. They told me thank you for letting them know and that the Technician Supervisor would call me back but no one ever did. I spoke to the dispatch supervisor asking had anything been done and she said that she hadn't reported it but she took care od the dispatcher that spoke harshly to me. I asked her would I receive my refund and she asked was I seriously expecting a refund of $1? I told her yes ans she said that they wouldn't be sending me $1 in the mail.
