Review: Lost my key and the company sent someone over to get into the car for me and wire a spare key. When the guy tried getting into the car through the passenger door, he somehow messed up my handle and now I cannot use my handle to get into my car and have to open up the door via the passenger side. I bring the issue up to him and he simple states that it was already broken, which it was in fact not. $450 later for a spare key, only to have my car handle broken and be accused that it was already broken.Desired Settlement: Fix my handle or refund money for the part.

On 12/**/15, this customer called requesting a new key for a 2001 BMW 330. We sent our BMW specialist to [redacted], where the vehicle was located. In order to make a key, the technician needs access inside the vehicle. All doors were locked, so my tech had to use an air wedge tool to open the door, a 20 second simple process that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with door handle. The air wedge is placed in between the roof of the car and the door, then it is pumped to give a space between door and car roof so the tech can have access to unlock button. After, my tech got the car open, he continued to cut & program the customers key. Total costing $450. Customer paid cash and was given a DETAILED receipt, stating the services that were done, also acknowledging the ALREADY damaged door handle, that was there prior to my tech servicing the car. The customer signed this receipt and was given a copy. We have a carbon original copy on record.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here]
The technician did not INITIALLY AND ONLY attempt to open the door with an air pump. The technician INITIALLY attempted to open the door via the cylinder and door handle, and because he was unable to get in that way, that is why he used the air pump to successfully open the door. My door handle was WORKING prior to this job and was perfectly functioning in order to open an unlocked door. After the technician finished his job was when I realized that the door handle was not able to open my unlocked door. I tried to get in contact with the manager, but the company kept giving me the go around saying he was unavailable. I even told the technician to give me some time because I was trying to get in contact with the manager and the technician stated he had no time to wait around.. How can the Company claim that my door handle was already broken, as if I forgot that I apparently always had to go through the passenger side to open my door. That is silly and this is terrible customer service.

Review: On March *, 2014,I contacted 24 Hour Locksmith of NY inc. in regards to my remote and key for my Mazda CX9. The remote to open and lock the doors was not working properly and I wanted a spare key. They quoted me $225 over the phone and said they would send someone to my house. They called back later that day and said the locksmith was running late could he come tomorrow (3/*). I agreed. On 3/*/14 the locksmith came to my house and worked on key. At the end he stated he was unable to cut key but that he would give me a new remote which could open and lock doors. The price would now be $165. I agreed. Ten minutes after he left the remote was not working properly. I called back company who said they would send locksmith back. He never came back. On 3/*/14, at about 7 AM when my wife was unable to get in vehicle she called back the company who said they would send someone. Again no one came. At 12 PM she called back and explained that she was locked out of car and needed to pick my daughter up from school at 2 pm. They said they would come. Again no one came. At 8:30 PM when I returned from work I called the company and spoke to a female named [redacted], who told me to call back at 8:00 AM. I told her that the company advertises 24 hour locksmith and that I have been locked out of car for two days and wanted someone that night. She told me that the best she could do was have someone there at 8 A.M. on 3/*/14. At 9:48 PM that night I received a call from cell phone####-###-####. When I answered a male said he was the locksmith and would be at my house in 15-20 minutes. At 11 pm he was still not here so I called the number back twice and I got a voicemail. I then called the company spoke to a male who told me that was a mistake that the guy had called the wrong number and we will be there at 8 am. No one showed. Called the company and a male who said he was the supervisor said the Tech does not start until 11 am and send him then no one ever came.Desired Settlement: I believe the company should refund my $165 and assume the bill for my replacement key/remote.

THIS CUSTOMER HAD A NEW ROLL UP GATE INSTALLED. THE CUSTOMER INITIALLY CALLED OUR OFFICE TO INQUIRE ABOUT COST AND TO BOOK THE APPOINTMENT. OUR COMPANY DISPATCHED THE SALESMAN TO THE SITE WHERE A NEW ROLL UP GATE WAS INSTALLED. IT APPEARS THE CUSTOMER HAS HAD SOME COMPLICATIONS WITH THE INSTALLED GATE. THE CUSTOMER EXPLAINED WHEN THE COMPLICATIONS OCCURRED HE CALLED THE SALESMAN DIRECTLY NOT THE OFFICE. WE UNDERSTAND HOW THE MISCOMMUNICATION OCCURRED AS THE SALESMAN IS NO LONGER WITH OUR COMPANY HOWEVER IF THE CUSTOMER WOULD HAVE CONTACTED THE OFFICE DIRECTLY AT ANY TIME WE WOULD HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO ADDRESS THIS INQUIRY IMMEDIATELY. THE CUSTOMER EXPLAINED HE HAD TO PAY ANOTHER COMPANY TO REPAIR THE GATE. ONCE THIS HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION, WE HAVE REQUESTED THE RECEIPT OF THE REPAIRS MADE FOR THEIR REIMBURSEMENT HOWEVER THE CUSTOMER CANNOT LOCATE THE RECEIPT. WE HAVE REQUESTED THE NAME OF THE COMPANY AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO VERIFY REPAIR HOWEVER THE CUSTOMER CANNOT RECALL THE NAME OF THE COMPANY NOR HOW MUCH THEY HAVE PAID FOR THIS REPAIR WHEN ASKED. OUR PRIMARY GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND WE ARE EAGER TO RECTIFY THIS MISUNDERSTANDING AS SOON AS THE CUSTOMER CAN COMPLY WITH RECEIPT OR CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT VIA CREDIT CARD OR CANCELLED CHECK WHICH WE ARE HOPEFUL THEY WILL NOT STATE THIS REPAIR WAS MADE VIA CASH WITH NO RECEIPT OF PAYMENT.NEVERTHELESS THE MOST THE CUSTOMER IS ENTITLED TO IS THE COST OF THE REPAIR (WITHIN REASON AND WITH PROPER PROOF) NOT THE FULL REFUND OF THE NEWLY INSTALLED ROLL UP GATE.
Review: I use this company to program a transponder key for my car, 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander November **, 2015. They told me it would be $95 dollars. When the technician came, he started to work and then told me it would be $165 because he had to reset the complete to delete 4 keys. My car has only ever had 2 keys. he then said there was an additional $125 to bypass the alarm. He then told me, if I paid cash (which I did) he can drop the total cost to $240. After I paid him. He took off without giving me a receipt. I then called the dispatcher and asked him how much it was to bypass the alarm, he said he would call me back. he then called me back and said the cost is $65. After I told him that the guy took $125 he then tried to justify his tech's actions saying that its 125. They are deceptive.
On their website they say Programming Keys is $125, no where it indicates that this is a starting price....on the phone they tell you $95 to lore you in for the con.
If its $125 for the programming of the key, then anything that involves getting that key to work should be covered.Desired Settlement: I want the difference in the website price and the $240 I paid. I also want the receipt for my transaction.

We were dispatched to this customer after hours. The customer requested a transponder key for a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander which we quoted at $95 over the phone, extending a first time customer discount. The non-discounted price advertised on our website is $125 for this vehicle. Once our technician was on site he discovered keys needed to be deleted from the car's memory. This information was not provided on the phone in order to provide a more accurate quote. The original cost to delete the key from the car's memory is $35 for each key. The technician charged $70 for all 4 keys. Our technician then discovered the customer had an after-market alarm system in the vehicle, which is an additional $125 to bypass.. This is a separate request from making a transponder key. This information was also not provided over the phone to provide a more accurate estimate. The customer received great service at a fair cost for what has been required of our company.
