thank you for contacting me. yesterday I received notice of a chargeback to my card for $85, the amount of the fraudulent charge, from toro road runners. my next step is a very long yelp review.

I was not expecting such to happen so quickly. it was a pleasant surprise and I intended to email Revdex.com today to close the case. at least for Revdex.com's part.

I am satisfied in that I received back into my account the fraudulent charge. I am, however, outraged by the unabashedly immoral conduct of 24 hour towing. it becomes apparent that, if one reads the yelp and Revdex.com complaints (even in canada) that hidden charge, which they state they do not practice, is actually their modus operandi. they are a corrupt organization.

I feel badly for all those who do not realize they can take action against this company beyond just calling them - only to be treated rudely and denied a refund. they are no doubt making quite a profit by cheating and lying. sad.

I was happy and relieved to see the Revdex.com logo on their website.

her private phone was teminated after our investigation confirm that her conduct was not acceptable.
Even that she got insulted by [redacted] before hand, which we don't accept that as well.

First of all, sorry for the delay of this reply, we were gathering all the necessary facts related to this issue in order to give our decision on...

this matter which is:
About the rates: Her Husband was quoted over the phone (call recorded in our system) $55 for service call + $55 min to $85 max for the tow, if need use special equipment additional $85 will be added, because car was stuck on "Park"" Driver used dollies (Special Equipment).
And not around $85 as claimed by the customer. No refund will be issued.
About the damages: The reason we got a call is because the car was involved in an accident and they need a tow back to the house. My driver got to scene and load the car that is stuck in park, during the unloading process the vehicle's gear releases from park(out of our control since the issue to gear/park and breaks could be caused by the previous accident) and the car roll backwards and damage the garage door, since the car was already damage from the accident and no additional damage was caused to vehicle due to this new incident we are not liable for the damages caused to the vehicle, We are liable for the damages caused to garage door, which we are willing to send a company to repair the damages. We are ready to schedule the day for the repairs.
About the assault: The customer try to steal documents from the tow truck and the drives grabbed the documents from her, she called the police, an officer that arrived at the scene explained to her that she can't take stuff from private property without the property owner's consent.
Since a police officer was present at the scene we consider this issue resolved.
Our resolution to this case will be: Repair the garage door only.
Anything beside that will be taken to civil court for resolution.

When the tow truck driver arrived, he asked for the car keys. I informed him the keys got locked inside the truck, but because the accident happened so close to my home, I could easily grab my spare key from my home just up the hill from us. I told him this three times (because he eventually said "how do you not have the [redacted] keys" to himself). He had THREE opportunities to inform me that it will be an extra charge for "special equipment" and I would have had THREE instances to say "I will go get my keys to avoid the additional $85 fee" but I was NEVER informed, just like several of the other Revdex.com complaints with the same issue. Minus having to use "special equipment", how could I have the highest fee you could possibly charge when my tow destination was 500ft from the accident and your driver showed up an hour late??
The car was parked on an incline when the driver arrived at the scene. It was hit on the front driver side from the car accident. The truck was fine in its "parked" position for 3 hours from the beginning of the car accident, until your driver showed up. This was a very steep incline and yet my truck had no issue staying put. It was only after your tow truck drove my truck to my driveway and release the equipment did it get roll back into my garage. The Rachet strap that held the tires in place was ripped afterwards and even your driver was astounded that the strap ripped. I'm sure it must have been related to why my truck rolled. There are damages from the BACK of my truck slamming into my garage on the driver side bumper (the car accident happened in the front of my car, I have pictures and insurance claim to show) so you are liable for the damages to the back of my car where my truck hit my garage door.
To have no apology for your employee assaulting me is beyond disgraceful. I was professional and courteous to him the whole time up until he was about to just leave after the garage door incident. I absolutely should not have clicked open the glove compartment to grab the registration and insurance information, but he had no right to grab me, lift me and push me almost to the ground. I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old who were standing there watching. If you won't take accountability for what he did, then your company will never survive under unethical treatment of customers. Shame on you.
