Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 9, 2015/09/25) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: ***@need2tow.com First of all, sorry for the delay of this reply, we were gathering all the necessary facts related to this issue in order to give our decision on this matter which is: About the rates: Her Husband was quoted over the phone (call recorded in our system) $for service call + $min to $max for the tow, if need use special equipment additional $will be added, because car was stuck on "Park"" Driver used dollies (Special Equipment) And not around $as claimed by the customerNo refund will be issued About the damages: The reason we got a call is because the car was involved in an accident and they need a tow back to the houseMy driver got to scene and load the car that is stuck in park, during the unloading process the vehicle's gear releases from park(out of our control since the issue to gear/park and breaks could be caused by the previous accident) and the car roll backwards and damage the garage door, since the car was already damage from the accident and no additional damage was caused to vehicle due to this new incident we are not liable for the damages caused to the vehicle, We are liable for the damages caused to garage door, which we are willing to send a company to repair the damagesWe are ready to schedule the day for the repairs About the assault: The customer try to steal documents from the tow truck and the drives grabbed the documents from her, she called the police, an officer that arrived at the scene explained to her that she can't take stuff from private property without the property owner's consent Since a police officer was present at the scene we consider this issue resolved Our resolution to this case will be: Repair the garage door only Anything beside that will be taken to civil court for resolution Hour Towing, Inc Customer Service Department Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 11, 2015/10/05) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) When the tow truck driver arrived, he asked for the car keysI informed him the keys got locked inside the truck, but because the accident happened so close to my home, I could easily grab my spare key from my home just up the hill from usI told him this three times (because he eventually said "how do you not have the [redacted] keys" to himself)He had THREE opportunities to inform me that it will be an extra charge for "special equipment" and I would have had THREE instances to say "I will go get my keys to avoid the additional $fee" but I was NEVER informed, just like several of the other Revdex.com complaints with the same issueMinus having to use "special equipment", how could I have the highest fee you could possibly charge when my tow destination was 500ft from the accident and your driver showed up an hour late??
