Robert W[redacted] provided an estimate of $2924.68 (for tile work) which I paid $1495.36 upfront. Then they sent me an invoice for the rest of the $1429.32. After the work was complete they caused a significant water leak when pulling up the toilet (to place the tile around it). I had to fix this damage out of pocket for $500. Then they send me another invoice for $1776.13 which does NOT agree with the original estimate or the first invoice. We exchanged several emails and phone calls over the final amount. We could not agree on the final amount especially as it involved poor work and significant water/ceiling damage. Just an attempt to squeeze more money out of the job and refusing to be accountable for damage.
Then they made an UNAUTHORIZED to charge my card for the $1776.13.
Of course I will dispute it on my card.
