I've used 24hr Valleywide Electric several times now and have been extremely pleased. David has been a pleasure to deal with and has done a really nice job on some pretty significant jobs. And he's fast and reasonably priced too! It's nice to finally have a "go-to" electrician on hand.
To Whom it May Concern,
It seems that we each have our own versions of the events that took place that day and following. I would like to reaffirm that I called 24 HR Valleywide Electric and requested TWO services: to install the power for the ceiling fan AND to diagnose/fix the outlets that stopped working. Mr. D[redacted] came out and started with the ceiling fan (I did not push him to do one job first over the other). He did a fine job with that and then began work on diagnosing the outlets. I was trying to be helpful and tested other outlets in the area. When he got to the outlet behind the TV, I did offer to help take the TV off the wall. I was the only other person in the house and I knew he would not be able to do it on his own. I feel that this is a normal response, pregnant or not. I did not have any medical conditions preventing me from lifting 50lbs, as I had been continually working out throughout my pregnancy and knew I was more than capable of lifting the TV. The TV should have been moved and set down on a soft surface (such as the couch), but neither of us thought of it at the moment. I had been working on my laptop while Mr. D[redacted] was working, so I was not watching the TV and it was powered off. When we put it back on the wall, I turned it on, which I feel is a normal sanity check, and it had a large crack beneath the screen. It was no longer displaying any picture. At this point, I feel, that anyone's normal reaction would be shock and a bit of panic. I started to cry, which I tried to stop and remain calm....but I was panicing a bit. It was not a cheap TV and was just over a year old. Mr. [redacted] first response was "I'm not paying for that". I was trying not to get upset (and I NEVER raised my voice) and keep myself in check. I just kept asking him what I could do. I tried at this point to get in touch with my husband because I was having a bit of a panic attack. Mr. D[redacted] at this point said that I was too upset and he was just going to go. He mentioned something about filing a claim with his insurance, but honestly I was so out of sorts that the whole thing was a bit of a blur. I offered to pay him for the ceiling fan work and try to discuss what my options for reimbursement on the TV were and he said that the fan was on him and rushed out the door pretty quickly. He left without issuing me a bill or anyway to file a claim with his insurance.
My husband called him 2 days later to discuss our options with him and he was outright rude to my husband. I have a recording of this conversation for verification. He said that he would call his insurance company and file a claim on our behalf. We were never contacted by him or the insurance company again.
As far as the ceiling fan payment, I am still more than willing to pay for that service. I will NOT pay interest because he on multiple occasions said that it was 'on the house'. If he wants payment, he has to send me a bill for his services. I would also like him to send me his insurance companies information so that I can personally contact them about a claim.
Dave performed the tasks we requested and was very helpful with advice on some electrical matters. We have hired him in the past and will do so again in the future.

We had nothing to do with your TV, your TV was never on, before I got there, it was damaged before we even got there, and like I said we had nothing to do with your TV,would suggest turning it over to your home owner insurance..
Called [redacted] for an appointment for an estimate on some fluorescent light repair. To my surprise, he was able to come over within the hour. He gave me a reasonable quote, went to [redacted] for me twice and finished the job within 2 hours! My light is brighter than it has ever been, and I am extremely happy with the job. I now have an electrician that I will call for all my electric work. Honest, dependable, trustworthy.
I hired David from 24 hour Valleywide Electric LLC to add 6 light fixtures. He rewired our kitchen light fixtures, added 3 outdoor motion lights with new motion sensor fixtures, added two new exterior light fixtures & added 2 new ceiling fans with lights in two of my bedrooms. David did the job himself in one day, was super nice and professional, and did a great job. Thanks David.
Just made a call to have them show up last minute for our outlet to be fixed thinking it was going to cost us alot of $$. To my surprise they were very prompt and checked what was wrong and it ended up being completely different. They found solutions and since the guy was not even 15 minutes here and no major work done. We were not charged! So happy with the prompt service and I am satisfied with the work done. I would definitely use them again for my future needs.
Scheduled appointment last week and they NO SHOWED us today. No call or cancellation notification.
Not professional and wasted day waiting for them to arrive in the window provided.
Review: I hired David from 24HR Valleywide Electric to complete two jobs in my home: to add power to the ceiling/wire up a switch for a ceiling fan and also to diagnose/fix 3 outlets that had recently stopped working. He completed the first task with no issues. He moved on to the outlets and we had to move my 70" LED tv off of the wall because one was behind it. We took it off, he looked at the outlet and when we put it back up, it had a crack in the screen when powered on. He claimed that there was 'no way' he could have caused this crack and refused to pay for it. I never straight out asked him to pay for it, but I did want to know what my options were. He said that we could file a claim with his insurance and then hurried out the door. My husband called a day later and tried to sort this out with him and he was nothing but rude to my husband (swearing and raising his voice). It was finally decided that he would file the claim and took my husbands name and phone number. This was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything from him or an insurance company.Desired Settlement: For him to file a claim with his insurance company or to contact us with their information (which I can't find online) so that we can file a claim ourselves.
