Review: I began working with [redacted] in August of 2013 trying to buy a home in the [redacted]. [redacted] and his sales team made claims about the homes that were later unsubstantiated. The homes on the website claimed they were hardwood floor homes. When it came to the sale, they then said that it was only the first floor yet the website never made any such claims, so that is a deceptive business practice. There were issues in the model regarding the cabinet housing for the refrigerator. Sales person [redacted] claimed this issue would be fixed in the home I was purchasing and that the refrigerator would be able to fit into the back of the cabinet and have clearance for the doors to open. This is not the case in the finished product. [redacted], who was in charge of the add ons, was a very rude and combative individual. She indicated more than once that if I couldn't afford the home that I could always back out of the sale. [redacted] indicated that the weekend of 7/12 I could begin moving in my belongings into the home. I was given access to the home to do so. After I began moving things into my home, one of the construction crew people scratched my brand new $1500 [redacted] dining room table. To date, the home is still unfinished. I have have a back and forth with the construction company to handle, but with no resolution or date for resolution. I have called [redacted] to let him know and no resolution came from him regarding the damage to my property or the unfinished work. It has been almost 2 months since the bill of sale. I still cannot move all of my things in due to the issues that are outstanding.Desired Settlement: Compensation for the damage to my property as well as a firm commitment as to when the outstanding issues to the home will be resolved.

In response to your letter dated September 8th, referenced above, I was first made aware that Mr. [redacted] had unresolved matters and concerns with some items in his new home on September 6, 2014. I discussed some of these issues personally on September 6th and on Monday September 8th our customer service representative contacted Mr. [redacted] to address his concerns.

We are still reviewing the situation and hope to come to an amicable resolution with Mr. [redacted] within the 10 days to two weeks.
