25th Street Auto Sales D/B/A J.M. Auto Group, Inc.

I purchased a car from 25th Street Auto sales, before I purchased the car the salesperson assured me that the inspection on the car didn't need to be reinspected for PA as the plate on the car and my license are both in PA. I was also never informed of the 2 previous accidents the car had been in or any work it would need. The same day that I purchased the car I was pulled over and told that I have 10 days to have the car inspected in PA or I would be fined. I made an appointment with a trusted mechanic and called 25 Street auto sales to ask why I was lied to. I spoke to [redacted] who owns the dealership and he said if I took it to his mechanic that they would inspect the car for $25, I decided to go with my mechanic. On Sept 4 I took the car the my mechanic to have it looked at and inspected only to learn that it needs $2500+ of work to pass inspection in addition to all new tires rims and a list of other things that need to be fixed. I called [redacted] again and he said that there was no way the car needed that much work and if I went to a shop that he knew he would pay for the inspection. On Sept 5 I called [redacted] again to tell him I decided against his offer as I did not believe he would do all the work properly and do whatever he had to do cut corners and next year when I have to have the car inspected again I would have to deal with all the same problems. I told him that I just wanted to return the car and get the $1500 cash back that I put down on it. he told me that he doesn't do that and that I should hire an attorney.
