Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I did not tell Zarbocks how to repair the transmissionI took it to them because they stated to me, when I called them, that they could repair the vehicleThey said that they would look at it and determine what was wrong and repair what was wrong(I do not go to the Doctor and tell him how to do surgery or which medicine to prescribe, I tell him my symptoms and he examines me, makes a diagnosis then tells me which medicine to take or what surgery I will need doneThis is the same as taking your vehicle to an automotive repair shopAs I previously stated I am not a mechanic nor do I know anything about transmissions.) Zarbocks failed to repair the vehicle correctly and damaged the transmission it in the process of attempting to repair it, (probably the first time on May 5th because it was not exhibiting the problem of the Overdrive lockout light flashing and the transmission slipping, when I took it to them initially)The vehicle has been taken to another shop and it has been evaluated and they found that the Overdrive lockout light was flashing and the transmission was slipping and overheatingThey surmised that it had been caused by the attempt to put in a pump seal and the pump was damaged by someone hitting it with a hammerThis information has been provided in writing by the other repair shopZarbocks needs to accept responsibility for their failure and inability to repair my vehicle and the fact that the transmission was damaged by them while in their possession in their attempt to repair itWhen [redacted] Zarbock read the readout on the diagnostic scanner, after I returned to their shop in less than an hour of picking up my vehicle on May 5th because the Overdrive lockout light was flashing, and then telling me that it is probably some dirt in the sensor and to “drive the piss out of it and it will correct itself”, he endangered my life.It seems [redacted] Zarbock new from the diagnostic readout that it was a problem and just wanted me to take it somewhere else to be repaired so Zarbocks could avoid the responsibility of their warranty.I want Zarbocks to return all monies that they took from me, due to the fact that they failed to meet any acceptable level of performance for which to be paid and damaged my transmission in the process Regards, [redacted] ***

Zarbock's is sorry to hear that Mr*** was not pleased with our workWe did notify Mr*** when he dropped his vehicle off that we did have some work scheduled already before we could get to his but we would check it out as soon as we could the truck would not go in reverse when you tried to
move We scanned the vehicle and notified Mr *** of the codes and problem our computer showed the truck was having and gave him our estimate to fix his truck We did everything we could to look at his truck as soon as we could and we quoted him a price to fix it We also told Mr *** his truck would be ready at cause we had to put the pan back on and get his truck ready Mr *** showed up at wanting his truck so we did all we could to get his truck ready for him so he didn't have to wait longWe apologize that he was not satisfied with our work ! We feel that we did our job checked out his truck with our equipment gave him our diagnose even took the pan off to see if any other problems were showing and put fluid back to get his truck back to him since he declined any further repairs
Zarbock's tried to warranty Mr *** Transmission but the warranty company would not warranty the parts due to the fact that Mr *** drove the truck months knowing it was not working properlyMr *** call is in July sometime that he was bringing his truck in cause it was having a small
hesitation in the transmission we made him an appointment and called the warranty company that he would be bring his truck in and we would need what ever we found wrong sent fast to us because Mr *** needed his truck back fastMr *** brought his truck in on a Monday in july and we were ready to check it out and do an oil change on it as he requestedWe notified the warranty company the vehicle was there gave the information on it so when we found what was wrong they could pull up the information and get us the right parts neededMr H*** came right back and said he could not leave it due to the fact that he did not bring his credit card to rent a carWe did the oil change and told Mr *** we needed the truck back right away to take care of the problemWe never saw Mr *** back till months later on 3/we called the warranty company and they would not warranty the parts due to Mr *** negligence in bring the vehicle back and the fact he kept driving it knowing it was not working right ! they pull his information of that day he brought it in but did not leave it ! Zarbock's still took car of the labor and most of the parts and charged Mr *** only We do not offer fake warranties we stand behind our work it is not our fault Mr *** neglected to find time to bring it back as he admitied in our office! The warranty company would have warrantied any parts that first time Mr *** brought it in but due to the fact that he took it knowing it was not working right and then brought it months later with the transmission missed up they could not .Zarbock's itself covered most of it and charged no labor I think we wee more than fair
Mr *** did in fact told us to check the seal and to check the converter cause his vehicle was shifting correctly so once again zarbock's did what he told us the first time and just changed the seal and check the converter as he wanted cause it had a leak and he drove it that way and when we repaired the leak it didn't do anything with the od lightthen when mr *** decided to drive it from Houston all the way back having problems but not with it leaking and we suggested him having it looked at there so he wouldn't hurt anything he didn't want to once again he wanted us to look at the transmission when he got back to see what was going on we did and this time took the transmission out and found some worn out clutches and replaced them and did an overhaul on it we drove the truck around for awhile as it will show on our cameras and no light came on mr *** drove off was fine himself for awhile before he left us a message and we called back several times to help him and and to see if one of the sensors might be malfuncting but he never called backand we noticed his truck has been sitting at another transmission shop for more than a week in the same spot and when he has warranty on his and we know his transmission is fixed cause we replaced the parts inside all he had to do was let us check those sensor and find the faulty one since it took awhile before the light would come on causing the problem and we were more than willing to help him out and fix this problem and we told him on the phone and text him but he decided to not bring it backso zarbock's automotive feels that we have tried and went out of our way to help mr *** to fix his problem and for him not to be out of any more expense
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The response does not address the problem nor does it provide a solutionThe transmission was damaged by Zarbocks Automotive and Transmission in their attempt to repair itIt is now damaged beyond repair and needs to be
replaced

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:They vehicle could not be diagnosed resulting is a 4,transmission overhaul that was unnecessary and all the issue was is a $sensorI feel that they were trying to take advantage of meThe truck was there for weeks not being worked on with a diagnosis of a sensor costing $that was not even in the vehicleThis information led me to belive they didn't know what they are doing and then still charged me almost $dollars to tell me it needed a complete overhaulIt was a waste of time and money as well as the inconvenience of not having my vehicle for weeks

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: After leaving I reinstalled my old computer to see if it was truly causing the issue with the transmission it has worked fine computer failure did not cause the transmission to fail as MrZarbock claims it makes for a good excuse to not warranty his poor quality work

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I did not tell Zarbocks to replace a seal, (I am not a mechanic nor do I know anything about transmissions), I ask them ifthey could fix the transmission. They told me they could and would fix the transmission which they did not do on two separate occasions. After tellingme that there was nothing wrong with it when I returned with the vehicle within 30 minutes of picking it up the first time, to havethe flashing Overdrive lockout light problem corrected ([redacted] Zarbock told me it was just dirt in the sensor and I should "drive the pissout of it" and it would correct itself). This caused the transmission to overheat and slip. I took it back to them so that they would stand behindtheir work. They tried to escape responsibility for their work after their first attempt, by telling me to have it checked by someone else when I calledthem when I had to stop driving because the transmission was overheating, slipping and the Overdrive lockout light was still flashing. After the second repair attempt and the vehicle exhibited the same problem, I then took the vehicle to another repair shop look at the transmission. They stated it appeared that it was damaged by Zarbocks it their repair attempts and it needed to be replaced. The damage was done by someone hittingthe parts with a hammer and old burnt parts were used not new parts. Also many of the case fastening points were stripped out and the case now need to bereplaced. The overdrive lockout failure was an indicator of the damage done to the transmission by Zarbocks.I trusted Zarbocks to repair my vehicle and gave them two chances to do so, but in the end they were unable and damaged my transmission in their attempts. Theresponsibility to repair the vehicle and make it road worthy falls on the repair shop. To tell people their vehicle has been repaired and is safe to drive when it has not been properly repaired is endangering people’s lives. I want a full refund of all money paid to Zarbocks, due to the fact that they not only were they unable to repair the transmission but damaged it beyondrepair in their attempt and I now have to have it replaced.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not tell Zarbocks how to repair the transmission. I took it to them because they stated to me, when I called them, that they could repair the vehicle. They said that they would look at it and determine what was wrong and repair what was wrong. (I do not go to the Doctor and tell him how to do surgery or which medicine to prescribe, I tell him my symptoms and he examines me, makes a diagnosis then tells me which medicine to take or what surgery I will need done. This is the same as taking your vehicle to an automotive repair shop. As I previously stated I am not a mechanic nor do I know anything about transmissions.) Zarbocks failed to repair the vehicle correctly and damaged the transmission it in the process of attempting to repair it, (probably the first time on May 5th because it was not exhibiting the problem of the Overdrive lockout light flashing and the transmission slipping, when I took it to them initially). The vehicle has been taken to another shop and it has been evaluated and they found that the Overdrive lockout light was flashing and the transmission was slipping and overheating. They surmised that it had been caused by the attempt to put in a pump seal and the pump was damaged by someone hitting it with a hammer. This information has been provided in writing by the other repair shop. Zarbocks needs to accept responsibility for their failure and inability to repair my vehicle and the fact that the transmission was damaged by them while in their possession in their attempt to repair it. When [redacted] Zarbock read the readout on the diagnostic scanner, after I returned to their shop in less than an hour of picking up my vehicle on May 5th because the Overdrive lockout light was flashing, and then telling me that it is probably some dirt in the sensor and to “drive the piss out of it and it will correct itself”, he endangered my life.It seems [redacted] Zarbock new from the diagnostic readout that it was a problem and just wanted me to take it somewhere else to be repaired so Zarbocks could avoid the responsibility of their warranty.I want Zarbocks to return all monies that they took from me, due to the fact that they failed to meet any acceptable level of performance for which to be paid and damaged my transmission in the process.

Mr. [redacted] brought his 97 Chevy Suburban that he had bought and it had a transmission problem. The transmission had internal problem with it so our company rebuilt the transmission and it did come with a warranty as all our transmission do. WE test drove Mr [redacted] suburban and everything was working...
properly. Mr [redacted] came himself to our shop and took it for a drive himself for awhile and said everything checked out correctly and he was satisified that he would come and pay for it the next day as it will show on our survillence cameras him taking his vehicle for a test drive and coming back the next day to pick it up. So it is a complete lie that he picked his vehicle and drove it and it messed up because like I epressed earlier Mr [redacted] took his own suburban by himself and drove it and come back after awhile and said everything was fine and we can show that on our survillence. Mr [redacted] came by the next day and said he felt a problem with the shifting we took a look at it and scaned it to see if any problem had occurred our computer stated that A and B selonid we not working properly so we replaced them and it was covered under warranty. We took it for a test dive everything was working again. Mr [redacted] picked up vehicle and drove it for a couple of days and brought it back and said it was still having problems. We checked everything on the transmission to see what the problem was. We checked everything we did and everything was done right but we ended up finding what was causing the problem. Mr [redacted] ECM was not reading the transharness correctly causing the transmission to burn up. Mr [redacted] bought a suburban that had a computer problem that why his transmission didn't work when he bought it and now the one we rebuilt it had caused it to burn up also. Our warranty does not cover the Transmission when transmission fails due to some other problem the vehicle had but we felt bad since he had just rebuilt it and explanined to Mr [redacted] that first of all he would have to replace the Ecm and we would cover the labor to rebuild transmission again but he would aslo have to buy the overhaul kit and converter and Mr [redacted] agreed. He brought us a computer and it didn't work so he took it back and got us another one . We installed everything and everything worked perfect. Let me express to Mr [redacted] that no transmission shop in [redacted] would have ate the labor when the transmission messed up due to a problem the vehicle had. Now also Mr [redacted] has plainly stated right here that he installed his old computer which completely voids any kind of warranty on the transmission now . Zarbock's will not refund anything back . Mr [redacted] also signed a invoice that stated that Zarbock's was not liable for the transmission burning up and that he had to replace the computer.!!!!!!!!!
