27th Street Kickboxing

Review: I purchased a trial of 27th Street Kickboxing's classes through Groupon for my wife and me. After the first class, we were given the hard sell to sign up for memberships at a reduced rate (available that day only). Before I committed to a contract, I asked if I could receive a refund before starting the membership because I was being considered for a job that would relocate me to Santa Fe, New Mexico, which did not have a location I could transfer the membership. I was told that would be possible if I relocated. That was a year ago. After several requests via phone and e-mail, I have yet to see the refund appear on my credit card statement. I've been told on at least two occasions that it would happen, and that my refund needed to be processed through corporate ([redacted]). The last time I spoke to the manager, he said it would take 10-15 days to process; that was several weeks ago. The last time I contacted them (about three weeks ago), I left messages at their phone number and e-mail address that if I didn't receive my refund within the week I would take my complaint to the Revdex.com and [redacted]. No one from 27th Street Kickboxing responded.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $134 I paid in June 2012 for memberships for my wife and me that we were unable to use.
