To whom it may concern, Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle to us to do an alignment. When she came in she wanted to pay for the service before the work was completed. Before we did the alignment we did a visual inspection on the vehicle and noticed that the vehicle needed repairs...
before the alignment could be done. She had front end parts on the vehicle that needed repaired. If the front end parts were not repaired then the vehicle alignment would fail. We contacted Ms. [redacted] and told her about the repairs needed. We also told her that if she did the alignment that it would not stay because of the bad parts on her vehicle. She told us to still do the alignment the best that we could. When she came in we gave her an estimate for the repairs needed and told her that if she did the repairs we would align the vehicle free of charge. She said she did not have the money to do the repairs at that time. We also told her that she could take the vehicle to Sears automotive to get a second opinion. She said she would take it to another place. We told the customer that if she did have the work completed anywhere else she could come back for the alignment to be done again. She never came back nor did she call. We would like to offer Ms. [redacted] a refund for the alignment. We did our best to give her the knowledge and give her an estimate of what repairs were needed. We will be mailing her a check for the refund in the amount of $74.54. We are very sorry that she was not happy but we did what she asked.
