appreciate your time and effort towards that end. With over 7,000 families in our office, it is the candid comments of your experience that really helps us to fine tune the care of our patients. Thank you. Often times, patients will have questions about the recommendations for treatment after the exam. These questions are usually brought up at a follow up visit or in your instance this could have been at your next visit before any treatment is rendered. This did not happen. We received your request 1/5/2016 to cancel and to have your records sent to your office of choice. There was no further communication. I have authorized a full refund of $226.00 for the day that you had received the services. We wish you the very best in your care with Dr. Choo in Yucca Valley. customer service, therefore your feedback will help us tremendously fine tune the care of our patients. You have spoken to our staff on multiple occasions starting on May 9, 2017 but this letter serves as a formal written response in regards to your request for reimbursement of services provided on March 8. 2017 by Dr. An. [redacted] here at 29 Palms Dental Group. Your chart has been reviewed and the documentation confirmed that services rendered were successfully completed. Expectations were advised to you by the Dentist and our office staff including the possible inherent risks involved with Root Canal Therapy such as; It is advisable to crown or cap a tooth as soon as possible after root canal treatment. Root canal treated teeth may become brittle and due to undermined or reduced tooth structure, leave the tooth subject to cracking or fracturing. Crowning or capping the treated tooth is best precautionary measure to help avoid this from occurring. We had discussed your treatment options at the time of your initial limited examination Dec. 29, 2016 when treatment was first recommended and services rendered to alleviate pain. We have already emailed & mailed a copy of the informed consents signed by you on the date of service March 8, 2017 (as approved on the call between you and the management on May 11, 2017.) It is the finale decision of 29 Palms Dental Group to decline your request for refund of services provided. Once again, we understand your frustration when you have fragile teeth and dental health is pertinent to a healthy life.
