Their motto "We do it better" couldn't better describe this business. First of all, the owner, Justin, is amazing. He's polite, efficient, professional and even caring. When I first brought him my car, the way he handled my concerns was great and is what got me hooked. I'm SO GLAD I stopped in there and didn't just go where my insurance offered their "superior shops" (they aren't necessarily superior by the way) He did me a HUGE favor that helped me out so much, I honestly could not have had a better experience anywhere else. And, my car looks absolutely beautiful. Amazing. They did SUCH a good job, I can't exclaim enough how happy I am with the result of the work that 290 did on my car. And it's an RX8 to boot. If you care greatly about your car, then you won't trust your vehicle in anyone else's hands. The quality, professionalism, and price are unprecedented and unparalleled. They even cleaned my car, and I mean CLEANED it. Put all of my crap in a bag! No other car place has ever done that. Yes, they might vacuum around the junk or not at all if your car looked like mine. As a matter of fact, I was going to take it somewhere to clean it after I picked it up, and I didn't have to, because they did it for me. Thank you 290!!! �

A friend of mine who is very familiar with 290 auto suggested that I get my car fixed there, said they do a great job and I must say job well done. I've had a very hard time with my insurance company but 290 was able to get them working,they kept in touch with me every step of the way, also emailed copies of everything sent to and from my insurance company. Also my car came out great .I am sure to tell all, they do great work and keep you informed.

I brought my car here for rear-end damage. I was told that the car would be fixed with whatever the insurance gave. Instead it has been delayed.After leaving my car with the shop on December 16th, the shop contacted the insurance company, [redacted] to get a supplement as they felt the initial amount of $492.42 was not enough to repair the rear-end damage. A supplemental payment was made in the amount of $811.58 on 01/07/2015. 290 Auto Body and particularly its owner [redacted] continued to say this wasn't enough, claiming that their own appraisal put the repair costs at $6529.62 on January 27, 2015. In all this time, I was waiting for my vehicle thinking that the insurance company was being just as difficult as the 290 Auto Body. The insurance company paid for an extended rental on my behalf until February 24th, and since has stopped paying. I am still in a rental due to the fact that my car is essentially being held hostage until 290 Auto receives more money from the insurance company, [redacted] I feel slighted by both parties, but I feel particularly manipulated by 290 Auto Body who claimed that they were just trying to make sure that they fixed the car to be safe to put back on the road. Instead, they have literally had my car hostage because they are trying to get as much money as they see fit from the insurance company. An auto body should be fixing vehicles with the amount of money given to them by the insurance and if necessary they should ask for a supplement. I feel that request for more money was not necessary to fix the vehicle but 290 Auto Body constantly made it seem like it was, but more than that they wanted to make sure that they were not liable when the car is put back on the road with repairs of a lower value than what they think is necessary. I was deceived to think that they were doing what is legally required of them, but in fact it is not. I now know that they are always liable for the repairs whether they are given what THEY think is necessary or not. I feel taken advantage of and as a result I have spent well over $900 of my own money on a rental car waiting for my vehicle to be repaired.Desired SettlementI would like payment for the costs of the rental that have come out of my pocket due to 290 Auto Body having held my car for so long and not doing ANYTHING to fix it the entire time because they wanted more money.Business Response Dear [redacted],Our response is as follows...Because our Auto Repair facility has appraisers, and the Insurance Companies also have appraisers, the customer was confused as to where the problem originated from regarding the delays on his vehicle repairs. Later, he realized that the problem or error with his claim actually originated from his insurance company appraiser, not our shop, and he therefore withdrew the complaint regarding 290 Auto Body, Inc.We hope this clarifies our position regarding this situation.
