The manager of cleaners refuse to give me my refund for the destroyed suit that he tried to fix as well as the payment for the cleaning I ask forI took my church suit to be cleaned on the 26 day of AugI arrived to pick it up Friday 29th so I could wear it on Sunday Aug 31 on that Sunday 31st morning I took it out of the plastic for the 1 st time From the cleaners thats when I noticed the hem lining was out of the sleeves of my jacket of the suit and the skirt of the suit the hem lining was out of it as well I didn't even have to try it on to see that the sleeves have been shorten in length as well and on the sleeves there were scorched stains from an iron looks as if starch was sprayed on the sleeves and the iron scorched it .Early Monday Sept 1st morning I took my suit in and ask to speak to the manager a young lady nicely said he wasn't In he was out of town she told me to come back on September 3rd.So I arrived on September 3rd the young lady told me he said he ( manager) was going to fix it. So I waited to hear from them nothing I waited then that evening I went out there on Sept 8th that's when the young lady said come back on Sept 9th in the afternoon . I told the lady I can't return until Sept 10 because I have to work she said ok so Sept 10 came and I decided to call before I waste any more time and gas . A young gentlemen answered the ph and told me the manager said when I come back tomorrow Sept 11th it will be worth my while my suit will be fixed . So upon my arrival Sept11 th a young man greeted me and said you are the lady with the green suit I said yes he brought it to me , and when he brought it to me he distinctly said ma'am sorry we burnt the button off , I told him the button was up there before , then I looked at the suit it was even shorter than the last time I asked the young man can I please, please speak to the manger he said yes he went and got him after 10 minutes passed I ask for a refund for my suit and the dry cleaning service I paid for that was never rendered he said no So I told him he was being unfair he destroyed my suit I needed to be reimbursed for the suit and service that was never rendered he said no I will give you $ 60.00 I said I need my $12.00 dollars for the cleaning that I paid for that was never cleaned he said no I told him I would report him to the Revdex.com he just looked and I left .Desired SettlementI would like a refund for the damaged suit that he was suppose to clean that he tried to mend but made it worse so he wouldn't have to give me my refund I would also like the refund for the service that was not rendered it was just in plastic with ruin sleeves iron steam burns aBusiness Response The suit couldn't have had scorch marks from an iron because we use steam irons. Nevertheless, we offered the customer the $60 for compensation but she refused.
