I highly recommend that you DO NOT adopt from Karen and 2darescue. I don't feel she was honestwith me about the dog I adopted. He had been
returned once (she said) for biting when sheinsisted it was the owner's fault. I have experience with pit bulls and since this is a pit bull mix, I was
taken with him. I have had him for about a month now. He has bitten me three times and is aggressive and attacks me spontaneously while I
walk him.
I am an older woman, and do not have the physical strength to deal with his aggression. My
vet now has him on Trazodone to keep him somewhat mellow.
When I contacted Karen to return the dog to hershelter, she refused to take him back. She compared getting bitten to childbirth, saying I had
to go through the pain in order to reap the rewards. Karen told me to have him euthanized if
I can't keep him. Some caring shelter not.
I warn anyone that deals with her to be verycareful. She is dishonest and deceitful.
I regret paying her the $350 adoption fee so thatshe can continue her obscene fraudulent rescue
service.

We volunteered to assist this rescue in every way that we could. What we learned what the following:

1. Karen is outright cruel to clients and the animals, she judges people and discriminates
2. Karen makes threats to people if they anger her
3. Karen treats many of the animals herself states he was a RN years ago. Sorry Karen that doesn't make you a Vet. We consulted with a Vet regarding this and have a letter to back this up.
4. Karen neglects medicating the animals as needed
5. Karen yells, screams at clients and the animals--many are afraid of her
6. Our dog cried when she took it as the dog knows she is an awful heartless person
7. Karen threatens people by banging on their car windows, chasing them, threatening to use guns on them.
8. Karen tries to parent everyone's kids but her own
9. Karen accuses people of abuse, lying, and calls people names such as "B[censored]"
10. Karen has been reported too many times to count
11. Karen pushes people to adopt and tells them she needs the money
12. Karen uses the animals to manipulate and abuse others (see yelp)
13. Karen has forged documents on the animals (see Yelp)
14. Karen could not work as a RN because of her unstable outbursts, so quit
15. Karen complaints to clients about how stressed she is and how she cant do this much longer and how everyone f[censored] her over (her words)
16. Some of the animals are filthy and unkept
17. Karen is a chronic liar to the point of having some type of personality disorder
18. You may have a good experience with Karen, which is good. Means she was in a good mood that day. You would be the 10% that received kind treatment
19. read Yelp, scam sites, ripoff reports and Better Business Beaureu...many many of the same type of complaints
20. Karen has put many people at risk by going into homes having dog fairs, during this serious pandemic. She does not care, she wants money for these animals!

I reached out to Karen after I rescued a dog from being very abused and needed guidance as I never had a dog so abused prior. She responded promptly and answered all of my questions. She provided me with information on not only training techniques, but also on the proper nutrition for my dog. She is very passionate about dogs and their well being She educates people on the importance of health not only for the dog but the owner as well. She is blunt and to.the point which it appears may have rubbed some people the wrong way. However, my interactions with her was pleasant. She was a life vest for me when I was need of help. Shes definitely an angel to the animals

Karen is a psychotic bully and I wouldn't put anything past her. Reading her good reviews on Yelp, I'm convinced they're written by her and posted by her volunteers. Run, don't walk away from doing business with this psycho-you're doing better by adopting from the pound or Humane Society and really saving a dog from death instead of lining her pockets. Funny how no one ever gets their money back-so she make double on probably 50% of the dogs she sells (please do not use the word adopt). Her rude mouth is going to put her out of business one of these days!

I honestly cannot understand how these people can be so hateful and judgemental. Karen the owner is a very hateful person who when I called to gain information the conversation left me in tears. She pointed so many fingers about how I had supposedly do not carefor my animal, talked down to me stating she hoped I fed my children better than my dogs since at one point I had my dogs on beneful food. I called for help after my animal bit my 2 year old son, I did not want to surrender a dog who is 5 and well behaved other than being bugged by a child who doesn't understand. I am disgusted
