This business scheduled an event that required a $250 fee from vendors. They then cancelled the event and did not issue the refund.2girlscatering advertised for vendors to pay in order to participate in a Bridal Ball in July 2013 in [redacted], NC. They called the week before the event was to take place to notify me they had to cancel because only 9 out of the 40 vendors paid, but that they would issue me a refund or I could participate in the October Bridal Ball. I never heard from them again and did not see the new date advertised anywhere so I contacted them in September via e-mail asking if the event was still going to take place. No answer. Sent another e-mail. No answer. Contacted via Facebook messaging and they said they would refund my money. Never happened. I have attempted 9 more times to contact them and get my refund through their Facebook, website, and e-mail and have received no response. I recommend never using this company because they have essentially stolen $250 from myself and my family.Desired SettlementI want the $250 refunded immediately. I am not asking for more other than an apology and refund. My daughter needs dental work done and their negligence is affecting my family.Business Response Customers original refund was sent via our online bill pay service with a certified bank check on October 19, 2013. With our bill pay service, the money is automatically removed from our account therefore we don't know if the payment was received unless the person contacts us. We received an email from the customer on February 9, 2014 stating that it wasn't received but no emails or contact prior to this date. We processed the refund of the certified bank check which was received on February 21, 2014. Customer requested money to be issued through [redacted] and payment has been sent to customer. We apologize for non-receipt of the payment and have handled the situation promptly upon it being brought to our attention.Thank you!
