2nd Avenue Dental Group

Review: In 2011 I went to 2nd Avenue Dental for dental care. I was informed that I needed upper dental implants. They told me they had a dental plan through a credit card company called Care Credit who would approve me for $3,000. 2nd Avenue Dental stated the cost would come to $2,500. I informed them that they first need to get clearance from my primary doctor because I was taking Coumadin which is a medication to prevent blood clots. They said they would send a letter to my doctor asking for clearance. 2nd Avenue dental then had me sign a lot of papers and since I trusted this clinic, I signed the papers even through I do not read in English. A few days later when I saw my doctor, I asked him if he received the letter from 2nd Avenue Dental. My doctor stated he received it but did not give me clearance. Months later I received a bill from Chase Health Advance. They stated I had a credit line of $16,000. I never requested financial assistance from Chase Health Advance. The bill also stated that I owe $10,600. I was shocked because I never had the dental work done because my doctor did not give the approval. Now I have this charge on my credit report. It is unfair that this company bill the credit card for work they never provided. I went to 2nd Avenue Dental and asked them to return the money to the credit card. They apologized to me and stated they would refund the money. They never refunded the money because I was still getting billing statements. This company committed fraud by submitting my information to other credit card companies. Again I applied for Care Credit card card to finance my dental work which was only supposed to be $2,500.Desired Settlement: I would like for 2nd Dental Avenue to refund the money they charged for services they never provided and never received approval from my medical doctor.
