I hope you and your family are well: I am writing this complaint because I feel helpless in a very simple situation! I ordered a small dorm refrigerator for my sons dorm room on August 8, after confirmation I realized that it specified a black fridge but I wanted red. The cost was $166.87 after a coupon of 5% they offered. I contacted the company by phone immediately at (+*** there was no answer. So I contacted them by email they stated they would be prompt to help, however, I did not hear back from them until 10:43 pm on Monday evening(August 10) A representative, Greg states that he cannot change the color for me but he can cancel the order and I can reorder with the correct color. My response was great; but I also stated please send me a coupon code (5% off) so I can pay the same price. The next thing I know my order is cancelled and when I go to reorder the same fridge is now $202+ dollars. I would have kept my order had I known they were going to raise the price once they cancelled! Both black fridge and red are now $202...so ridiculous I would have just kept the black one.... I responded to Greg’s 10:53 pm email with 15 minutes and I still have not heard back from him. They just cancelled my order and jacked the price up $38. Unfair practices during a time when we should all be looking out for one another. So sad to report this but thank you for your help. I just wanted a fun fridge for my son at college after all this heartbreak in America!
