my knowledge has never received a complaint of unfair or deceptive business practices from The Office of Consumer ProtectionWe take great pride in serving our customers with quality service with honesty and integrity.Mr***'s complaint is riddled with inaccuraciesThe building sewer line at In *** *** *** *** *** owned and operated by *** *** had froze multiple times this winterAfter thawing the frozen building sewer the second time on December 28th 2015, We strongly recommended using a sewer camera and further evaluating why the tub drain was freezing.Mr*** is also inaccurate on the septic tankThe septic tank lids were hardly "very Accessible"They were covered with over a foot of snowWithout being familiar with the original installation it was impossible to know the location of the tank without spending considerable time with a line locating tonerSo, we requested Mr***'s property manager meet us onsite to show use where the septic tank was atWe initially met ***'s Husband *** onsite at the scheduled time and discovered the septic tank was full to the top of the risersMr***'s property manager was requested to be onsite by *** ***However, Mr***'s property manager was not there at the scheduled timeAfter we left the job site, we immediately returned when Mr. ***'s property manager arrived to go over the finding with himOn January 20th 2016, I was physically onsite for hours meeting with *** *** and then with ***, Mr***'s property managerI advised them to pump the septic tank sowe could determine why the pump was not functioning and the tank was overfull. On Friday 01122/we received a phone call from Mr***'s property manager notifyingus the tank had been pump and authorized us to diagnose why the pump was not working On Tuesday 01/26/we returned and tested the pumps and floatsWe determined the pump as well as the on/off float had failedWe issued ***, Mr***'s property manager a verbal estimate to replace at $*** authorized us to replace the pump and floatWe requested how they intended to pay*** said they would make payment to usWe asked payment terms do you needI stated, we would typically like to have full payment in days but if they could make (3) payments in days we could work with that*** replied he would visit with *** and come up with a payment planOn 01/26/we had hours on this project. To respond to Mr***'s claim that our website states "free estimates"This was aauthorized service call by Mr***'s property manager to diagnose what had failed and what the correct course of action needed to beWhile I do not believe our website states "free estimates" we certainly do provide free estimates however we do not provide free diagnostics.Mr*** states he received an alternate contractor to perform the required work that we diagnosedHe claims, it was approximately $lessI can not address why someone would choose to provide & install the properly sized pump and floats for less than the actual material costs.I find it odd that Mr*** states he would never hire us againAfter the pump was replaced, Dave, Mr***'s property manager requested we come back and unthaw the frozen building sewer. I replied no thank youWe have provided the service requested by Mr***'s representative and are not interested in a settlement of hoursIf full payment is not received within days of invoice #*** dated 01/26/we will proceed with filing a Mechanic's lien and begin the process of perfecting that lien.Sincerely,Three Brothers Plumbing & Heating Inc.Dominic ** B***Vice President
