On July 6,th 2012 my fiance and I purchased a 2006 dodge Stratus from 3d auto sales in Westport, Ma. When vehicle was purchased dealer lowered price on car if we agreed to take care of air conditioner on car, we were not comfortable with that but she assured us it only needed Freon and it works like new. We expressed our concern with a loud ratteling sound from under the hood. She looked at it and told us it was simply because the air conditioning system was trying to turn over and since there was no freon the compressor was making noises because it was trying to turn on air conditioning, we asked her to double check it and she assured us that was the issue. She then wrote up agreement we paid 3,200.00 dollars for this vehicle. The owner assured us that the car would be cleaned and ready to go for pick up later that day, we were given keys and told to pick up vehicle at our convenience. My fiancee returned later that evening to pick up vehicle and it would not start due to someone at 3d auto leaving on lights, he had to jump start it and the car was filthy on the inside and outside they did not clean car at all. Less than one week later I was in the car with my son and the rattling noise shook the whole car and the car over heated and you could hear fluids boiling and the car stopped moving and we were traveling in a very busy parking lot and were put in a very dangerous situation. I let the car cool down and drove across the street to the [redacted] to have them look at it so we could get home safely. [redacted] technicians at a certified auto repair center looked at car and we were told that someone had purposely put a wrong fuse in one of the fuse boxes under hood to give the appearance that the car was running properly and that he has seen dealers do this in other cars. He expressed concern that the engine fans were not working and that's why the car was over heating and making that rattling noise. The [redacted] technician told us that this is under warranty and to bring the car back to the dealer and they would need to replace it.This incident happened on July 12, 2012, I called 3-d auto directly after and spoke with the female owner. She was belligerent and condescending and was giving me a very hard time, I explained to her we were under warrenty and by law she had to fix this situation after a very unpleasant phone call she agreed to let us bring the car there at 11am the next day July 10, 2012. On July 10, 2012 My fiance dropped off the car and gave them the information with what was wrong with car and what needed to be fixed, she said she will have her mechanic look at it and call us later that day or the next day. We waited for a call and when we did not receive one that day My fiance called and an employee informed us the mechanic did not come in and would be there tomorrow. On July 13, 2012 we again waited for a call and did not receive one. My fiance called and spoke with a gentleman who informed us that he went through the car and that the steering fluid was low so he filled it and now the car is fine, my fiance told him that's not what [redacted] said snd steering fluid would not cause a car to do that, the gentleman assured my fiance that this is what it was and the problem was now resolved and there was nothing else he could do for the car. My fiancee asked him questions regarding the car and asked if he could go over the engine and the fans to make sure and was safe for myself and his son, that's when the gentleman informed my fiancee he was not a mechanic so he could not do that and the mechanic failed to come in again but assured us the problem was resolved. My fiancee went to [redacted] in Faihaven ma to look at the car. We had to pay [redacted] to use a vacuum to vacuum out steering fluid and oil because the gentlman at 3-d auto over filled fluids which we were told could be harmful to the car. We called 3-d auto several times since this incident and every time she is either not there, she will not return phone calls, when we have contacted her she has yelled refused service and hung up. On Wendsday July 25th, 2012 Our car again broke down and I contacted the owner of 3-d auto and told her she needs to make sure the care is truely fixed and safe. She told me to tow it to a mechanic and have them call her. I told her it was her responsibility it was warrentied under her business and she needed to hounor that warrenty and take car, she refused. She said have it towed to a mecahanic and have them call me. We had it towed to [redacted] and they called her and told her it needed a new starter and it would cost 195.00. She refused to pay this price and now told us if we wanted it fixed we would have to have it towed from New bedford to wesport to her business and she will fix it but we had to pay a 100 dollar deductible and for the towing if we wanted this done. We told her that she told us to tow it to a mechanic and refused to take it and she offered to pay for it and then recanted. We explained it was under warranty and her responsibility. She refused to take car of tow or pay for repairs. The owner also became demeaning to my fiancee yelled and hung up and refused to speak to him. The owner said that she would buy a used starter and then pay for it to be fixed. My fiance picked up starter went to [redacted] they called her and told her it would be 140.00 for labor she then refused. [redacted] called us today July 26,th, 2012 and said they needed to speak with us about the car it looks like it could be more serious than the starter. The owner from 3-d auto refuses to keep her word or take responsibility that under law she's obligated to. We have spent well over 200.00 dollars fixing car because she refuses to honor warranty. It looks like we are now looking at alot more money and she's in refusal to work with us in any way. [redacted] called us and said the engine is going toseize and replacing the starter did not work to return car this was on July 27th, 2012. I called female owner [redacted] explained this she started yelling and swearing then hung up. [redacted] has a sister who works for her she called me back explained to her what was going on she was very nasty she asked what car I said the dodge she replied oh the one the *Word Rejected*came in to but I said excuse me I thought I heard wrong she then said the one the *Word Rejected*came into buy the dodge. she was speaking of my fiance who is from the Philippians. I hung up. They called back offering to have their mechanic look at car , I explained mechanic said egine is going to seize she said no and that its probably starter and was upset with my fiance because he did not bang a hammer on starter to see if it made noises to assure it was the starter. I explained my fiance is not a mechanic. I told her three different certified mechanics are saying the same thing and we would like our full payment back since they refuse to fix it correctly. She did not want to do a refund said she will have a mechanic look at it but to tow it there and it will sit there until she's ready to look at it implied it could be a while meaning days or weeks as a threat. I told her I was going to contact better Revdex.com and attorney generals office she said to be careful she has friends at both places. I explained she was not even registered with Revdex.com. She hung up.
