Here are the additional facts and our willingness to have this matter settled I have attached the supporting documents The client did call me to say she was going to cancel and I told her that if I was able to re-book the date I would see about a refund even though she signed a contract stating that she understood that she would not get anything back if she canceled for any reason She was not willing to wait so she waited day and then posted negative reviews That one day was definitely not enough time to re-book with any one Then she put a dispute on the credit card for $and issued this complaint with Revdex.com We would like to be able to give her money back (pending the release of the hold - her bank has the money) In order for us to do this we would ask that she remove the reviews that she left and not post anything negative in the future We feel that this is only fair is she ends up getting her money back as a gesture of goodwillPlease let me know if there is anything else that we need to do to settle this matterThanks! signed a contract stating that she understood that she would not get anything back if she canceled for any reason. She was not willing to wait so she waited 1 day and then posted negative reviews That one day was definitely not enough time to re-book with any one. Then she put a dispute on the credit card for $470.00 and issued this complaint with Revdex.com. We would like to be able to give her money back (pending the release of the hold - her bank has the money). In order for us to do this we would ask that she remove the reviews that she left and not post anything negative in the future. We feel that this is only fair is she ends up getting her money back as a gesture of goodwill. Please let me know if there is anything else that we need to do to settle this matter. Thanks! This does not resolve the issue. I had to go to great
lengths to get this companies attention because he stole my money and provided
no services and refused to work with or communicate any resolutions beforehand.
I had to work with my bank to get my rightful money back. He is now asking me
to re-release the funds and trust him to issue me a refund and is asking me to
take down my truthful reviews. This is in all favor to him because my honest
reviews are hurting his online reputation. Which they should for he is a
dishonest business man and a thief. I tried working with him but over the phone
he told me he was not giving me my money back and I was out of luck for
canceling. To reiterate, I did not cancel my wedding my venue did which ties my
hands for I have nowhere for him to conduct his business. I had the proper
documentation to show him I did not choose to cancel my wedding. If my bank has
a hold of the money and he doesn’t have it, the issue has been resolved because
he no longer has my money. I have to call my bank and double check this of
course. If he wants me to delete all of my honest reviews about his shady
business practices he needs to refund me in FULL which includes the retainer I
chose to let him keep for understanding his troubles. Which is an additional
$250.00. You can’t keep someone’s money and not provide any services. That is
stealing! You did nothing for my wedding, you put in no work or effort. Also
you mentioned I gave you no time to re-book. What shady business would actually
take the time to re-book a date and have to actually work when he has already
stolen someone’s money and refuses to give it back and doesn’t have to work at
all, since he already stole someone’s money? Like I assumed, you did not get it
re-booked and you expect me to trust that you tried? You fooled me once with
not ensuring you told me about paid in full payments, not going to try to let
you rip me off again. Your resolution is not a mutual beneficial
resolution. I kept in constant contact with you and once we paid you in full
you disappeared. I gave you all the information as it happened when our venue canceled
and I tried working with you. Don’t steal money you didn’t earn/work for and
you wouldn’t be going through this process.
1. Nothing can be done to resolve this matter until the bank has made their decision.2. The contract that she signed was very clear. "If this agreement is cancelled by the vendor for any reason, the retainer plus any additional interim payments made to him shall be refunded in full to the client. If it is cancelled by the client for any reason, vendor shall keep the retainer plus any additional interim payments paid to him as a cancellation fee. Client understands that the retainer and payments reserve a specific date". There was nothing shady about it. It is a very simple contract without a lot of small wording that is hard to read. As you can see, it goes both ways. If I would have canceled on her she would have received ALL of her money back. Whether the venue canceled her event or not, it still comes down to the fact that SHE canceled on me.3. I have the text message thread that shows that I offered to try and re-book the date if given some time. I did try to work something out even though the terms of the contract are very clear and I'm not in the habit of collecting money hoping I won't have to work for it.4. And apparently her wedding was not completely "canceled" as she has stated in her complaint and in the online reviews. She told me she had to cancel the whole thing but she did get married on 11-16-17. I don't have a problem with ONE bad review in the last 12 years. I do have a problem with the fact that she has chosen to alter the facts to make me seem "shady", including that she did sign the contract, I did try to work with her to re-book, and that her wedding was off.5. I don't believe that she really wants to resolve this matter. She just wants revenge for what she thinks in unfair. Hopefully she will read any contracts she signs more carefully in the future.
