Due to a call off by an employee that was scheduled to go out of town. In the process of trying to get this straightened out, I forgot...

to call Mr. [redacted]. Then once I left to do the job out of town myself, I left my cell phone in my shop and did not receive it till Wednesday when my wife had mailed it to me.I immediately called Mr. [redacted] and rescheduled to meet with him the following week.Later that week I learned that barely 24 hours after I missed my appointment he had filed complaints with The Better Business Burn, The states attorney general. And left bad reviews on Home Advisor and Angie’s List.I met with Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] and apologized for the incontinence and assured them that I would be able to start on the 2nd bath remodel on 10-19 They agreed to let me finish the project as described.Charles H[redacted]Construction Services

Mr. H[redacted] began a bathroom remodel for our family and will not complete the job or return phones calls. We have tried to reach him with no success.

Review: We hired 3 Rivers Construction Services to convert our laundry area into a mudroom. We were not provided with plans or sketches at any point in the project. The owner, Chuck H[redacted], who we have been working with directly from the beginning, has been extremely difficult to get a hold of and he has been non responsive for long periods while our project sits unfinished. We are now well outside the contracted time frame of completion and there remain unresolved issues. The project is incomplete and the contractor is not responding to our repeated attempts at communication. There have been multiple breaches of contract including more demolition done by homeowners than initially requested, no removal of debris by contractor, no written statement about price differences, and job not complete within timeline stated. He has acknowledged that we are unsatisfied with services and proposed a plan for amendment, however no action has been taken in months. There is also a dispute about remaining money owed as he ordered upgraded cabinets without providing us with written documentation as to the cost change, as stipulated in his contract, and he has yet to adjust for the difference in materials cost.Desired Settlement: We would like for him to complete the job as soon as possible. We would like to be provided with the invoice for the upgraded cabinet to determine if additional payment is warranted. We need to have our materials price adjusted as we got a less expensive tile than originally quoted in the contract.

Should they choose not to return and finish the job, we request 10% of what we have paid back in order to finish the job and written documentation that we do not owe any remainder on the invoice, so he cannot return later and try to collect.

Review: I have a home improvement project. Contacted Home Adviser was directed to 3 Rivers Construction Services. I contacted 3 Rivers Construction Services, Charles H[redacted] owner visited, took measurements and provide quote.

We accepted quote, then with follow up visit by Chuck H[redacted] we signed contract and provide him with $2,000.00 payment.

Our last contact was in mid May, stating he was to receive all materials by May 20, 2016.

He has not responded to voice messages or e-mail since.Desired Settlement: Complete work or return money.
