Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the company.  She stated that the phone call made by the company was a complimentary call as the consumer had already paid their [redacted] bill.  The company stated this is what they are required to do per their contract with [redacted].

Review: These people called me claiming to be [redacted] and after asking to speak with me by name thanked me for continued [redacted] service and hung up. Upon calling them back I got through the automated service to 3 Step Collections. I always pay my [redacted] bill within the alloted time period so I knew that my bill had not been turned over to a collection agency. When I attempted to get more information about this business they refused to so much as repeat the name of their business until such time as I provided more personal information i.e. Home Address. They had caller i.d. as they asked if I was indeed [redacted] without me giving them that information. After speaking to Revdex.com on the phone and the [redacted] I am filing a complaint via your online service. I believe this phone call and the misrepresentation of themselves as having any affiliation with [redacted], constitutes unethical business practices, attempted identity theft, and fraud. Please look into this matter ASAP and thank you.Desired Settlement: I want to help ensure that these people and others like them are stopped before they do real and lasting damage to peoples lives. For them to attempt to get personal information, only leads to nefarious purposes such as telemarketing scams, identity theft/fraud, and general harm to the general public. If a rape victim does not do everything in their power to get their attacker locked away they share copability and complacency in any following attacks and I for one will not be a party to this.
