303 Party Bus, LLC has honorably provided thousands of HAPPY passengers a FUN party bus experience without incident to warrant not a single negative review . Though 303 Party Bus takes all complaints seriously, our customer satisfaction rating is at an all time high; as evidenced by our #1 Rating in [redacted]! We work hard to keep it that way! Upon real time monitoring and follow up review of our internal protocols for this event, [redacted] Opening Day, 303 Party Bus was in full compliance with the terms of our Agreement with this repeat customer whose group gave us excellent feedback from prior use of our service same venue last year at a seriously discounted rate last year based on last minute availability. This year almost full rate. 303 Party Bus does not bow to bullies nor participate in “ pay to play” threats, which was the threat from this reviewer that he would give us bad reviews if we didn’t refund his trip at 100%, after 303 Party Bus offered a fair resolution to his complaint for their half hour inconvenience, and other game day concessions he declined in lieu of full reimbursement. Not only did the complainant misrepresent that he was the same Owner of the company we had reserved with prior, (that owner wasn’t even on the bus) but he also omits any reference to his and other passenger’s alcohol fueled bullying behavior to our driver while she was driving, in violation of our Agreement, there is no allowance for any passenger to display behavior that jeopardizes the safely of other passengers or interferes with the operation of the bus. We acknowledge that opening game day traffic snarls did create a delay and inconvenience for his group, mostly by the actions of a few in his group, further complicated by the rush hour traffic volume and roadblocks on opening day and THEIR insistence to change plan from designated parking Lot C to an alternative nonauthorized drop off pick up location. “ This review is a telling statement about a complainant who could not allow for opening day flexibility and last minute designated parking changes. Further, many employees departing the bus shared kind comments and thank you’s from their experience. One customer acknowledged his/her apologies upon departure that "all it takes is one ___ (expletive) to ruin it for the rest of us"..Other employees that he claims took Uber did so not as a result of our party bus traffic delay, but because they were staying downtown long after the game to continue in their Opening Day festivities along with thousands of other baseball fans. We value those positive comments from passengers and they do not match the horrible experience the claimant is alleging. He and a few others added to the stressful traffic situation and created their own bad experience, not the fault of our driver. Our driver has 18.5 years driving experience and is the most sought after driver from our many repeat customers. Our driver is expert and licensed to drive the bus classification she was assigned. She knows the bus mechanically and how it will handle and that huge 44 passenger bus has a very large turn ratio, and you cannot just turn it on a dime or down any street, as they were yelling at her to do, down narrow streets with vehicles parked on both sides and lane closures due to road construction. She IS the driver, NOT the passengers, and SHE knows the downtown area well and knew where she was going and had a plan to get them back to their des[redacted]tion safely. She did just that, though 31 minutes late. As it happens in real time, game day parking is subject to change at any time and we are not given any advance notice. Thus not a fair assessment to compare traffic expectations from one year to the next. Our Agreement which was signed by the company states as follows: "Company is not liable in the event of a mechanical breakdown while on charter and will only be responsible for making up lost time at a mutually agreed date. Not responsible for delays or for termination in winter caused by unsafe road conditions (ie. not salted, accidents, etc") All passengers also signed our separate Waiver and Release of Liability form which clearly states the rules in part as follows: "I acknowledge the Company is NOT responsible for my negligence or the negligence of other third parties, including, without limitation, negligent acts associated with consuming too much alcohol or other mind altering substances". Also, "I acknowledge that the Company reserves the right to refuse service to me in its sole and absolute discretion if I engage in conduct detrimental to the safety of others, and that I may be forced to make and pay for alternative travel arrangements in the event I am refused service by the Company." The claimant and other few passengers were in gross violation of the liability agreement when they entered the space of the driver, and through intimidation and bullying her about directions THEY thought she should be taking, they were interfering in her operation of the bus and thus the safety of all the other passengers. The driver should have asked them to exit the bus at that time. Instead, we offered numerous concessions to eliminate their half hour inconvenience from rest room stops, free dinner or drinks or extra time on the bus, at our cost, all to be declined by the claimant. Yet in response to his allegations, we went further and refunded his company $160 which was equal to the hourly rate he paid, even though we returned everyone safely to their return location 31 minutes late. 303 Party Bus disputes this claimants entire claim that WE provided horrible service and are responsible for their 31 minute inconvenience. We did our best in a difficult traffic scenario on a BIG game day event with traffic situations we have no control over, we delivered them to and from the game safely and for most of the participants, had a great experience! 303 Party Bus [redacted]
Hi [redacted]: I wanted to review all the facts before I responded to your complaint re your party bus event with us on April 7. As you know [redacted] Opening Day can create a traffic nightmare for anyone, especially when the game extends into the rush hour traffic, [redacted] traffic and...
normal Friday evening downtown traffic. We acknowledge that the end of the game traffic was not a perfect scenario for our driver and our customers, however, we do not agree that your group was exposed to the chaos you describe, nor were they ever in any danger. Excessive alcohol consumption from a few may have exacerbated the situation as well. In accordance with our Agreement, we are not responsible for unavoidable delays, and as such we did fulfill the terms of our Agreement with your company. Our goal was to provide a party bus experience for your group and return them to their des[redacted]tion safely. We did that. And judging from the comments of the majority of the passengers exiting the bus, they agreed. I’d like to clarify to your reference on Friday night and again in your email that I was speaking to [redacted] Friday night. I was disappointed to learn [redacted] was actually not on board the bus and it was only you I spoke to. I have great respect for [redacted] based on my professional communications with him last year and was impressed by his actions as an employer to acknowledge his employees by providing a FUN party bus outing to a [redacted] game, and that he chose us to help make that happen. I have also had great rapport in managing these events with your marketing partner, [redacted] both years. I was directly involved in supervising your event to ensure you had another great event. Through our internal protocols and GPS tracking mechanisms, I was in constant communication with our Driver, [redacted], as well as your marketing partner, [redacted], throughout the event and when the traffic issues arose. [redacted], who had been on the bus earlier assured me that [redacted] had the best professional acumen and handling of her bus in driving you to your destination, and during the traffic delays, our driver and [redacted], reassured me that everyone was alright. We also offered to accommodate your group and mitigate any possible discomfort due to the delay and we offered concessions to your group to have the bus stop ANYWHERE there was a restroom for food or drink or even stay out an extra few hours. ALL were declined by you. Upon arrival to the game, your group had a parking permit for Lot B, our driver was turned away by traffic police at B and directed to Lot C, designated area for buses. In attempting to navigate to Lot C through road blocks, some in the group were insistent that she drop them off at an alternate circular location and she acquiesced to that. Our procedure is that we drop off and pick up our groups at the designated approved location, in this case, the redirected Lot C . After dropping them off she went back to the designated Lot C to await end of game directives from the group. When called she left Lot C to the circular area they requested for pickup, however it appeared that the circular location was not an approved “after game” pick up point and she again was turned away by police and could not access that area because OUTGOING game traffic was blocking that entrance and [redacted] St was closed due to construction. They informed her that her group would have to shuttle to Lot C.. She communicated that to them. Due to shuttle wait times, the group chose to walk to Lot C and waited while she was trying to maneuver thru traffic to get back to them. Our driver, [redacted], is an experienced professional requested often by our repeat customers. If she was rattled, it was because TWO passengers were repeatedly in her space, interfering in her driving decisions and questioning what routes to take, including the turnaround in the [redacted] area which IS an acceptable turn around. Our large bus has a very large turn ratio and she cannot turn that bus on a dime or according to the directions you were trying to give her onto narrow streets and oncoming traffic. We understand your frustration, but let’s just all acknowledge that this was a fun event that went a little sour at the end due to mismanaged communication and could have had a more pleasant outcome if everyone had stuck to the original plan as directed by traffic police, Lot C. In lieu of granting you the make up lost time as specified in our Agreement, I have credited your account for one hour for the inconvenience and the 31 minute delay in returning all the passengers to your office safely. I hope that we can get past these misunderstandings and work together again in the future. If not, please know that we appreciated your business and wish you continued success. Thanks and Kind Regards,
[redacted] [redacted]-[redacted] and I spoke with you during our horrendous experience at the [redacted] game using your party bus on Friday the 7th. Our driver was [redacted] and our experience was as follows: 4:40 PM: We called to let [redacted] know we would need to be picked up around 5:20 as instructed. [redacted] said that would be fine that she would meet us at the pick up. This worked great last year with your company. 5:15 PM: We arrived at the designated pick up and there was no bus waiting. We called [redacted] and she informed us that she was in LOT C and couldn’t come forward to the designated pick up area. She asked that we come out to LOT C and we agreed to walk out to LOT C which is 1.5 miles from the designated pick up. 5:40 PM: We arrive in LOT C and the bus IS GONE. We call [redacted] and she explains that she left LOT C and is now stuck in traffic off [redacted]. Why did she have us walk to LOT C??? Why doesn’t she know protocol at the stadium if she is driving passengers to and from a game?? None of this is unique to opening day. These are the rules of every game and the same rules as last year when your company drove us to the game. Around 6:15 PM we finally get picked up in LOT C where we’ve been sitting in a vacant lot. [redacted] proceeds to go right back on to [redacted] and into the traffic she was just stuck in, We all told her to avoid [redacted] and [redacted] as they were the two streets that had red lines on [redacted] because of construction. [redacted] proceeded down [redacted] on to [redacted]. She was yelling and cursing at anyone that suggested alternate routes as many of our employees had places they needed to be with their families. At one point [redacted] pulled off of [redacted] and drove down a road with a giant sign that said ROAD CLOSED. She turned into a lot surrounded by 8ft barbed wire fencing which we quickly discovered was the [redacted] Depot where they store the busses. What was she doing??? She made her way through the [redacted] station and winded right back to [redacted] where she had turned off for this odd detour. We finally got back to the office at 7:35 PM. Employees raced into the building to use the restrooms as they had been walking around and riding the bus for over two and a half hours. We spent a TON of money on [redacted] tickets and concessions to make this a special day for employees. The bus was an added bonus and supposed to be fun. The ride home was a nightmare and we believe this is not acceptable. We considered going to Revdex.com, [redacted] Reviews and sharing our experience with 303 Party Bus…. But Last year you guys where great. I do not think we should be paying for this party bus after what has happened. This was 100% driver error. The driver should know where and how to pick up the clients, the driver should have clients walk a 1.5 to a lot they are no longer at, they should know how to navigate the area, and they should use the chartered bus parking area that is designated near the stadium. We’re sorry this year wasn’t the success of last year. Thanks,[redacted]
Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:We did not provide alcohol and the three employees that brought beer were not on the return bus home. We had zero intoxicated employees on the bus going home. It was not 30 minutes delay as stated. We called for the bus at 4:40 and were dropped off at our office at 7:30. The experience was not good and that is why we've bothered to file a complaint. It's clear that 303 Party Bus doesn't care at all about their clients. They even charged us a gratuity on top of the fee.Our experience was terrible and our reviews, and complaints, accurately reflect our experience using 303 Party Bus.We will never utilize 303 Party Bus and we will be certain to never recommend their services.
Sincerely,
