This install on a *** *** was completed on Tues7-11-The customer needed a ride home so after the install was finished I had picked the customer up from her residenceShe drove the car back to my business to drop me off and sign her insurance forms never once saying anything about
damage or stuff on the dashAfter taking care of the paperwork the customer left the shop coming back in a few minutes later saying that there was glue on the dash so I took a clean towel with some class cleaner out when I wiped the dashShe then proceeded to tell me that the area was scratches and that I had damaged her carI did deny that I had done the damageI did tell her that the windshield had been replaced prior and she said no it had the *** logo I proceeded to tell her that you can replace a windshield with OEM that says ***. (I know when I damage something and I have always fessed up to it and fixed it promptly never letting a customer be unsatisfied with my work!!!) The customer left unhappyThe next day Wed7-12-she returned to my shop saying that she had been to another glass shop for a second opinion and there was more she needed me to look atI went out as she was telling me that other X shop had said there was more wrong than just the scratches and that the scratches were cause by a windshield install (which I did not deny in the first place that they were cause by a tool.) She was showing me this that shop X had said and I did fix a rubber piece on the passenger sideAs she continued to talk about the scratches she become very rude as ask her to calm down and what she wanted me to doShe wants me to replace to dash in the carShe was yelling cruse words and calling me names so I asked her to leaveI have been in touch with the customers insurance agent they apologized to me for her behaviorI have also been in touch with Shop X manager twice about the situation and the stories she has and they have DO NOT match 100%So yes I have refused to fix the problem due to things that have been said by the customer and others now involved

I am rejecting this response because: The earliest opportunity I had to check the quality of the work done on my car was after I signed the final paperwork. I could not very well check it while I was driving Vickie and myself to the shop, after she picked me up from my home. No, I had to focus on the traffic and my driving Then, when we got to the shop, Vickie wanted the paperwork signed right away. So, as soon as I signed the paperwork, I went out to my car and inspected it. That’s when I discovered the damage to the dashboard. This damage was NOT the result of a previous windshield replacement. Prior to 7/11/17, my windshield had not been replaced in years. And had my dashboard been damaged at that time, I certainly would have noticed it long, long before 7/11/17. As I said before, the dashboard was not damaged when I took it into Auto Glass, but it was when I got it back (Incidentally, the paperwork I signed was merely an invoice, acknowledging the amount to be billed to my insurance company; it was not a certification that I was satisfied with the quality of the work performed.) As I previously admitted, I did raise my voice at Vickie; but at no time did I curse her or call her names. If my insurance company apologized to her, it was only because they believed her lies about my cursing and name calling. And if they did believe her, then shame on them. The last thing I said to Vickie was that I was going to file a complaint against Auto Glass with the Revdex.com because of 307’s shoddy workmanship. That’s when she said, “Wow!” and told me not to ever come back. As if I would.I still want my dashboard repaired or replaced, at Auto Glass's expense.Regards,
