Dear [redacted] In reference to Mrs [redacted] complaint to Farm and Pettwo months ago(or longer) Mrs [redacted] brought in a jar of with about an inch of "trashy" bird seed in it from a bag she had purchased from our store, wanting a FREE bag to replace the bag of "trashy" seed, she NEVER returned a bag of any product(full or partially full) to us, we gladly replaced it with a new bag of the same productWe also opened the free bag, in the store for her, which we open several other items for other customers, upon request, so that they can they can see what they are getting before they purchase said productsWe sell out of the Black Oil Sunflower seeds on a weekly basis and therefore are restocked by our vendor weekly Mrs [redacted] came in the last week of September to say "I bought a bag of bird seed a month ago and it's been sitting in my garage since and now it is all buggyI don't have a receipt, but I want to get a free bag in exchange", to which I replied that without a receipt dated within days of the purchase we could not do a returnShe openly admitted that it had been sitting in her garage since she bought it a month or longer ago, without a sales receipt it is hard to say and that we had exchanged/gave her a free bag the last time, completely ignoring our Return PolicyShe spoke with me directly the day she tried to return the product without a receipt and I explained to her that without a receipt dated within days of that date I was not able to do a return or transfer of product for her, she then called exactly a week later to talk to me and again I explained to her if she did not have a receipt dated within days we could not do a return or exchange, the week after that she then posted to our [redacted] page about it, it was removed, so a week after that she then wrote a Review on our [redacted] page further complaining about the buggy bag of seed to which we yet again reiterated our return policy to her on Facebook, and now another week later she has reached out to the Revdex.com for her free bag of bird seed! It's borderline harassment at this point Our Return Policy is posted right next to our register and printed at the bottom of all of our sales receiptsIt clearly states that Any and All Returns must be accompanied with the original sales receipt dated within the last daysWe have a return policy for a reason and with this particular customers' history of buying, returning, and then getting free bag after free bag of seed we need to uphold our Return Policy! Our [redacted] program that is mentioned has nothing to do with our Return Policy and is NOT to be used as a receipt in way shape or formIt is an Index card in which customers bring in with them when they make purchases, their sales total before tax is hand-written on the card, after visits the totals are added up and the customers receives 3% of the total back to use on their next purchaseSpecific items and quantities are not recorded on the card [redacted] cards are NOT held at the store, customers are responsible for keeping their own cardsSo that would not prove anything other than she shopped here on such and such date and what her total was before tax In her complaint she states that the previous management here had given her a free bag or bags, I, myself have given her one free bag of seed, about two months(or more) prior to this incident as stated in the first paragraphWe have many other customers(employees included) that buy the same bag of bird seed from us and none have complained or asked to return any bird seed in the past year, that I have been with the company, Mrs [redacted] has been the only oneIf Mrs[redacted] is so unhappy and dis-satisfied with our bird seed, then why does she continue to buy seed from us and why does she continue to go so far out of her way to get a free bag of bird seed? I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10876530, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]  [redacted], the [redacted], has a problem with telling the truth.  I have never brought bird seed in a jar to her store nor have I ever asked for free bird seed.  I have never received a new bag of seed of any kind from her.   She is a dishonest employer who cannot tell the truth.  It is very sad that she has to resort to lying rather than admit the truth that her store sold a bug infested bag of seed that she is unwilling to replace.  I still have the opened bag of bird seed which was stored in my air conditioned home.  I will not do business with companies whose employees and staff lie.  Refund my $30.

Review: I recently purchased a 25-lb. bag of sunflower seeds from this merchant. I kept this bag in my home which was air conditioned. I didn't open it because I was finishing off the remains of another bag previously purchased from this merchant which was still fresh and contained no bugs. When I moved the bag in order to clean the floor of this room, I discovered hundreds of small bugs coming from the unopened bag. Apparently whatever had laid eggs in the seeds/bag had hatched producing thousands of bugs. These bugs crawled all over my floor and up my walls. When I tried to return the unopened bag to the merchant, which I had secured in a trash bag, the [redacted] refused to take it back or exchange it because I didn't have my receipt. I was a [redacted] patron and they should have been able to find my account. This [redacted] insinuated that my home had caused the condition with the bugs. She blamed me for purchasing this bag of seed before I needed to use it. This [redacted] was totally unaccountable for products she sold in her store. Either the bags of seed they buy are not fresh or their method of storage is causing or contributing to this infestation condition. Either case is unacceptable to those of us who purchase bug infested products and then are turned away without remedy. A similar problem occurred a year or so earlier under different management with this same business. I had purchased a 25 lb. bag of sunflower seed which was infested with moths. I received a new bag immediately without any grief when I returned it to the store.Desired Settlement: Refund my $30 for this bug infested bag of sunflower seed.
