This company is committing fraud by refusing to give prices for lock outs up front. I called this individual because I locked my keys in my car and I found his company using a quick [redacted] search on my phone. They said it was $37 dollars, plus labor depending on the kind of car. I told them I had a [redacted], but he said it would depend on the condition of the car and other factors, so he couldn't give me an exact amount without seeing the car. I figured it couldn't be more than 20-30 because the 37 was literally just for the locksmith to drive to my location to confirm the car was already locked-something I had already done. I didn't think it would be more than double the initial fee. I told them to please send someone. Then the locksmith arrived and told me it would be 145.00 to let me in my car. I told him never mind. He immediately offered to knock it down to 110, which goes to show how arbitrary their pricing scheme is. I still said no. He reminded me that I owed him 35 for showing up, different than the $37 dollars I was quoted on the phone. Ultimately, they charged me $35 for someone to show up and confirm I was locked out of my car. I feel that I was taken advantage of and the whole point is for this company to get $30-some dollars to do nothing. I also find it hard to believe that in 2015, they can't offer you and upfront price for lockouts based on the make and model of the car you are driving. [redacted] for a year was 60. It's fraudulent that they surprise charge people more than double that for a one time service. They still have my card number and I obviously don't trust this company.
