Hi, I ordered 15 tickets to Foam Fest 2020 an event hosted by 365 Sports Inc. through *** that is now cancelled. In the original refund policy on the *** website (which is the refund policy for all third party users on the platform) clearly stated that if the event is changed to a different date and you can no longer make that new date then you are entitled to a full refund. I have tried to contact the event organizer multiple times over the past 4 months as per ***'s request and I have tried to contact *** customer support directly to no avail. Every time I fill out the customer support form, I just keep getting a generic message from 365 Sports and *** saying to try support again or that they are not issuing refunds. They are stating that their refund policy overrides the refund policy of ***'s platform which is not true. The money we used for the tickets was grant money that needs to be returned as the event is cancelled and we cannot attend a year or two years from now. The tickets were bought for at-risk youth group. Please help us get our refund back. The total for 15 tickets was $806.40.

Like most other events, we have decided to postpone for health and safety reasons and all ticket(s) will be honoured in 2021 at the rescheduled date. This is due to the impact of Covid-19. While we do not process refunds on registrations you can defer the ticket(s) to a future event, a different location, gift it to a friend to use or sell it to someone else should you not be able to attend. *** does not determine a refund policy - there is some confusion there on the complainants part. It is always up to the event planner when launching ticket sales and we have always held a no refund policy with transfer and defers options. Our policy is clearly noted on the registration page prior to placing an order, in our terms and conditions on our website and as per our waiver that is approved during the registration process. It is a common policy in the large event/ticketing industry. While we do not process refunds on registrations participanrs can defer the ticket(s) to a future event (2022), a different location, gift it to a friend to use or sell it to someone else should you not be able to attend. There are lots of options so no one loses out.
Since June 2019 we have been planning this Summers 5K Foam Fest Event Tour. Due to the timing of the pandemic, 80% of all event costs have been secured and paid for. We as a company cannot get our venue fees back, we cannot send our medals, towels, tattoos, bibs, and bib buttons back which have been paid for and are in our possession. We also carried the costs of producing an event of this caliber over the past year.
When faced with a situation such a Covid-19 we choose to postpone a year in order to provide an amazing experience to our consumers. We asked our participants to work with us as we want nothing more than to bring our participants a top tier event like we are so used to producing and we appreciate 99% of our registered participants are understanding and supportive being that we are in a pandemic and looking forward to get foamy in 2021. :)

I do not accept this response. The event for 2020 was cancelled (not postponed as it's an annual event) under unfortunate circumstances, however, just because your company is facing hardships doesn't mean that your consumers should bear the brunt of it. I also plan large scale events myself so this is absolutely not industry standard practice.

Frankly, I'm rather disgusted that this company is with holding money for an event that isn't happening. We cannot attend in 2021 or 2022 and it should not be the consumers responsibility to sell their tickets in order to not be negatively affected by something like this. Any person who works in event planning has a solid contingency plan if things don't go according to plan in order to properly recoup costs. This company owes me $806.40 and I will not accept anything less than a full refund. :)
Trying to get a refund on the 5k foam run here in Windsor ON . This company will not honour this. I did not cancel. This was cancelled due to the Covid 19 and they are trying to reschedule for next year. The race was scheduled for Aug 29th 2020 and they are trying to keep my money till Aug 2021. That is to much of a gap of time and I'm not sure of my status at that time. I purchased 4 tickets for $208.24 Feb 5th and feel I'm entitled to a refund due do these circumstances.

I would like my funds back. This is unfair. I did not cancel this therefore I should get a full refund. The all terrain race held at *** gave me my money back. They are a huge race. Not sure the issue here. You cancelled. This should void what ever no refund policy you have due to these circumstances. This should be NO job of mine to sell these tickets!
