365 Tech Help Reviews (10)

At this time, I have been
contacted directly by Tech Help regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
They are using "spoofing" to contact me. I have kept careful records of their calls. On 9/**/they called using the phone number ###-###-#### and asked if my email address was still at att.netI quickly told them I didn't want to hear from them. On 9/**/they called using "anonymous" and "private Caller" for the name. (I should have known not to answer it, but I did) It was Tech Help 365. Once again, I said not to call me anymoreOn 10/*/they called again from ###-###-####. That time, I did not pick up. Also on 1-/*/they called using ###-###-####. How stupid do they think I am? Of course, it was too close to the other number, so I did not answer. They called again on 10/*/using the ###-###-#### number, on 10-**/from ###-###-####, on **/from ###-###-####, on 2/from ###-###-#### and on **/"unavailable - private caller". I complained to the FTC. The person I spoke to said, "well, just don't answer your phone" and I don't. On 10/**/15, I decided that I can't NOT answer every call I get, but that's what I've been doing, I've been so fearful of having to talk to them. I just want them to leave me alone! On 10/**/I also decided that if there is any way to resolve this matter, I will have to find out where these calls are coming from and who is making them. This is going to cost me a lot of money, and time, but if that is my only option, other than going to a lawyer (which would be much more expensive than doing it myself), then that is what I will doI found out that the ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### originated from *** **. I don't know anyone living in *** **. Using "anonymous" and "unavailable" are also of a suspicious nature to me. If these individuals were running an honest business, then why are they "hiding" the real phone number they are calling from? I have a long list of phone numbers that I am working on. Some of them I found out were from people I know, they just aren't using their name on their cell phones. But I have many numbers to check on. I don't think I should have to use my valuable time and what little money I have to "prove" to the FTC that this company is using questionable tactics in order to reach me. It should also show to you that I have made an honest effort to "trace" these calls coming from this company. What does it tell you when they have refused to make a rebuttal to my claims? Also, I need to correct or modify your statement above, saying that "at this time I have been contacted directly by Tech Help" regarding this complaint, when in fact they have contacted me to GET ME TO USE THEIR SERVICES, which of course, I DO NOT WISH TO DO fearing that they will "get into my computer" and HACK it, causing damage to my computer, resulting in expensive repairs. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE from a different groups of people.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by 365 Tech Help regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]   They have contacted me using suspicious phone numbers such as "anonymous--unknown caller" Or "Unknown--1"  I know it was them because I picked up the call.  As soon as they started talking, I knew what they were up to and it wasn't to "resolve" any issues.  My credit card did that for me by settling my dispute with them in my favor.  Once they knew I was "onto" their trick, they tried a new one, using a phone number with a [redacted] area code, (within my area code calling).  I answered that one and it was them again.  I hung up.  They called again and I answered by saying "she doesn't live here" and hung up.  I kept a careful log of all the calls they made from different numbers.   They'd call me 2=3 times a day, using 2 different but very similar [redacted] area code phone numbers (one ended in [redacted] and the other one ended in [redacted]).  They were calling two-three times a day, several days a week from these numbers, plus the "unknown 1" and "Unknown number, anonymous caller").  I put these [redacted] numbers on the FTC National "Do Not Call List" and also had my phone block those numbers from being able to reach me.  They have attempted only once or twice since then, but thank heavens, I think it's over!  This is not the way a "legitimate" business would try to contact a customer to "resolve" an issue.  They did not call from their [redacted] number that I got from them as a "receipt".  Therefore, my claim remains as originally stated.  I could not reply to your email immediately, since we were out of town for a few days and then our power went down and took some time to restore.  I haven't had time to reply to this until now, since we had been out of town and came home and were busy unpacking.  Today was the first chance I had to reply to this.  It is of great concern to me that this business be stopped.  They probably already have. and are "reorganizing" under a different name, or are now "underground" hacking into computers and stealing information from people.  If I could, I'd hire a private detective to investigate them and find out what they're up to now.  It's a concern to me that they are running these "computer tech scams" or may now be "hacking" and doing much more damage to the public welfare.

Review: I needed tech support for my windows 7 system. They spent an hour or so with me, but did not fix the issues we discussed. I've given them my Discover card number, my address, phone number and such. They took charge of my computer to fix the issues, and the issues are not fixed. Now I"m worried about what personal information they have taken from my computer and feel that I've been violated. Where am I now? Should I be concerned, or just challenge the cost submitted to my charge card.?Desired Settlement: I want to know if I should be concerned about them taking over my computer? What personal information have they taken? What about my banking and private sites?

Review: My problems with 365TechHelp began on September [redacted]2013. In an attempt to reach Norton, I contacted the above named company through the internet. I explained my problem (assuming it was Norton) as follows: I purchased a new PC and needed to have my Norton Internet Security and Norton Utilities transferred to my new PC. The remainder of time on my existing contract needed to be added also. They said they would fix the problem and instructed me to provide my credit card info, which I did. They never advised me that they were a company other than Norton in fact they articulated they would handle my issues. They also never fixed the problem stated above.Next the 365TechHelp tech informed me that I had numerous errors on my PC. They said that a program they ran showed numerous errors from 2012. This script was visible on my screen also. The machine wasnt taken out of the box, installed or set up until September **, 2013. There was not a mention of a subscription service with them. I was charged 159.95 for nothing. No service was provided by 365techhelp.Since then I have been going back and fourth with the credit card company. Them taking the charge off then putting it back on my account.Desired Settlement: 365techhelp should repay the credit card company

Review: This business practices are unethical and annoying. It involves a phone call I was attempting to make to Hewlett-Packard, but I must not have gotten the correct number. One of their agents answered and I asked if this was HP. He said, "well, no, but we work with them." That should have been my first clue. I had a problem with my computer and they said they could "fix" it. After getting my information, they "worked" on it and told me it would take awhile, so I could leave my computer and they would call me when the "work" was done. On May **,2015, they charged my Credit Card $199.00 for their "services". After all was done, I called my credit card company and asked them to not accept the charges, but it had already gone through. I filed a fraud complaint with my credit card company and they refunded my money. However, Tech Help 365 badgered me, beginning June 7 and asked me to "remove" my complaint and then they would "refund" my money within 5 business days. My credit card company said that would not be a good idea, because most likely, they would NOT refund my money and then the bank could not help me. I got other "suspicious" calls from them in the following days. They rebutted my complaint with paperwork I had never seen, saying that I had "clicked" on their "accept conditions" button when in fact, I never saw ANY of the attachments they sent to my bank in their rebuttal. I wrote the bank a letter and outlined exactly what I had done. I didn't get their information from their Website, I got it from their "agent" over the PHONE.I saw no paper work. In the end, the bank agreed with me and refunded my money. On 9/**/15, I got a call from this business asking if I needed any "help" with my computer. My caller ID stated "Anonymous" and "Private Caller". I should not have picked up that call, but if a business is ethical, their business name & phone number should have appeared on my called ID. I fear now that they will "tamper" with my computer or harass me in other ways.Desired Settlement: I do not wish any further contact from this business, as they have proven to me that they are thieves and liars. I fear that they will tamper with my computer "remotely". They did in the past and I was without a computer for the whole summer for what they did. I have a brand new computer now, which is working fine. I WANT THEM TO LEAVE ME ALONE, NO CALLS, AND ANY FURTHER SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY WILL BE REPORTED TO YOU. Other people should be aware that this company is not what they appear to be.

Review: I was attempting to fix the computers at my business, I went on line and contracted 365 Tech Help, only once they had my contact things kept getting worse on my computer.

I am the the smartest techie, but when they went into my dos and started to get my computer to say things, and the text turned red, I back tracked what was typed and found that they had been typing in code to turn the type red, and code that would specifically flash errors.

I requested a refund through my credit card company and now I get 6 to 8 calls today, saying that they need asscess to my computer to complete the refund. Why?? No they do not. they just need to send the money back to my credit card. I completely removed all files they installed on my computers by scaraficing all file and rebooting. Dont let them on your computer.

here is the code they used. color 4 by the way is red.

Review: In trying to salve a problem on my computer (which I could have salved my self) this company came on line to sell me 365 tech help. I told the person whose name is [redacted] I was not interested in the service. I told them several times I was NOT interested. They refused to take NO for an answer. [redacted] told me to try it for one month and if I was not satisfied he would refund my money. I am not satisfied with the service. They did salve one problem. The first day they tried to help me I was on the computer for at least four hours. During that time nothing was resolve. The next day some one else did finally get my problem salved. It took nearly six hours, which most of the time I was on the computer with them. I was very frustrated. I am s[redacted].I was very tired. I ordered the service on the [redacted] of December. After all the frustration I called on the [redacted] of January to cancel. I talked to several people but was refused a refund. I paid $259.95. My account # is [redacted]. I talked to [redacted] and [redacted] . [redacted] Id # is [redacted]. Evidently 365 tech help contracted the word out to another party. This is not my problem. Thank you for any help you can give me. Sincerely [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like may credit card refunded for $259.95 They did offer me $100.00 but I said NO

Review: My elderly father was on-line and opened an email that caused a virus. From the moment he opened the email the only screen that would show was the 365 tech help pop-up. My parents were then unable to use their computer from that point. They of course called their ###-###-#### phone number and long story short, gave someone their credit card information. They did nothing to help the computer problem. There was a $30.00 fee, not to mention the cost to have the computer REALLY fixed, but my real concern is that they now have my parents credit card information. My father has since had to take the lap-top (3-day old lap top BTW) to a local service to have the problem resolved. (When they dropped it off the tech person said, "oh not this again". THERE ARE RED FLAGS ALL OVER THIS SITUATION!!!!

I have tried to repeatedly to reach the company at the given number. The number is connected to a Verizon wireless carrier. The message prompts you to leave your number and then they will call back. I am not going to do that.Desired Settlement: I want this company investigated. I think they are a total fraud and I am worried about all of the people that may be taken by them.
