36th Street Animal Clinic Reviews (3)

Review: [redacted], the [redacted] of my local veterinary office ([redacted] Animal Clinic) informed me that the business would be re-locating. At the time, I asked him to please give me my cat's medical records. As I live right around the corner, he said he would drop them off with me or let me know when I could come pick them up. I never heard from him again. When I went by the office, it was closed and was being gutted. There was no contact information. The phone number and website no longer work. My cat was in treatment at the clinic, and is still in need of medical attention. I am unable to relay what tests have been performed on him to my new vet, who needs this info in order to proceed with caring for my cat.Desired Settlement: I would like the [redacted] of the business to turn over my cats medical records immediately.

Review: We had our dog [redacted] spaded on october [redacted] for the price package of $600.00 at the above mentioned facility. After surgery the dog was picked-up from the clinic. About three days later our dog developed a rash, which under the fur was not noticible. We took the dog back to the clinic and when her fur was buzzed off the rash had spread in large patches all over her back. We asked the doctor what was the cause, since we gave her a very healthy dog. She and the rest of her staff gave us 4 different reasons...very vague reasons. My wife and I were very concerned about this since the dog was wimpering every night in agony. We brought her back as the rash worsen. The doctor and the staff were very dismissive and the [redacted] caught an attitude towards us. instead of trying to fix the problem we were forced to buy medicine from them with the hope it would be resolved. We had a credit of 116.00. Which a portion of it was used for unrelated expenses leaving us with a balance of $82.00. When we asked what was wrong with our dog, he gave completely unrelated justification; mind you, he is a [redacted], not a veterinarian. It's been over a month, my dog is still in the same condition and when I took the dog for her shots, which was part of the package, we were denied of the $82.00 credit we had. [redacted] told us that the amount was used for other services, which we do not have a receipt for, and our total was $28.00 leftover. When I questioned the amount he was very dismissive and when I asked to speak to the doctor, whom was the one who wrote it on paper of our due credit, he refused to let her come out.

yesterday 11/**/14 we had to take our dog to another vet due to her conditions and cost an additional $275.00 (between the visit and antibiotics) My family is very upset about this and instead of helping they dismissed us with a $28 dollars credit refunded by money order which we have not received. Btw...according to the new vet, my dog will be scarred for life and the possibility of catching that was an unsanitary work environment. all bills and pictures of dog's condition are avaiable upon request.Desired Settlement: of $82.00 and an apology for mistreating us and scarring my dog for life.

Response:

Please See Messages and Invoice, Also We Want A Vet Medical Records Proving That The Dog Was Scarred For Life From Unsanitary Work Environment. My Lawyer Will Send Over A Letter That If Clients Still Harassing Us We Will Sue For Slander. We Have Notes That She Said That The Unsanitary Was Out Of Anger, She Need To Worry About Taking Care Of Her Dog, She Don't Listen When We Say Leave E-collar on.

Thank You,

Review: On 3/**/14 I brought my dog to this clinic for an exam and blood work to determine if he was eligible for a dental cleaning and extractions. My dog was examined and blood was allegedly drawn and I was told by the [redacted] and Certified Veterinary Assistant, [redacted], that the results could take up to 30 minutes to come back. I could not wait that long and asked them to call me with the results. I paid for the services received (exam and blood work) totaling $110 as well as prepaid for the dental work and made an appointment for the following week for the procedure. [redacted] and I came to the agreement that if the blood results did not deem him eligible for the dental work I would be refunded the $149. The day before the appointment [redacted] informed me that the results came back irregular and she would not do the procedure without a more thorough workup. She suggested a sonogram costing $400. Since this was not my dog's regular veterinarian that my dog sees annually I cancelled the appointment and told them I would bring him to his regular doctor for further followup. I have since contacted [redacted] for a refund for the services not received. [redacted] refused to issue the refund and has informed me that I have to have the $400 sonogram done first. [redacted] is trying to exhort more money out of me in order to issue the refund. I have since contacted [redacted] in an attempt to speak to [redacted] and have not heard back from anyone at the clinic. They are ignoring my requests completely. [redacted] is trying to bully me into paying more money in order. I wonder how many other victims are out there?Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the services not rendered and the Revdex.com to be alerted to this company's fraudulent ways.
