We have tried several times, leaving several messages, trying to schedule a time for us to complete the set up of her home. We have gotten no response back from her. We were wondering why she didn't want us to finish the job

She purchased a lot model which is still available right away for delivery!!..She chose , after several months , to change a few items and thought she would wait to order another home..The manufacturers are extremely busy with a large backlog..If she is tired of waiting she can certainly have
the original home delivered!!! We would love to accommodate her Tell us why here

In response to the *** *** complaint, Hathaway Homes Group has never neglected their service needs. Hathaway Homes Group has sent a service tech to their home to address and correct any issue they had. Their service tech has been to their home over ten times to fix any service
issues and their water heater problem was fixed by their service tech in conjunction with the Factory. No water filter service was ever promised or was ever included on their Purchase Agreement. Hathaway Homes Group has no control over the water quality in the Williston, ND area. Hathaway Homes Group does not sell water quality products, nor did they claim to be able to fix North Dakota water quality*** *** *** tested *** *** water and the test come back satisfactory. I am rejecting this response because: they are saying they came out numerous times and they only came out times in months, once to put on skirting and to thaw out frozen pipes, second time they sent a repairman to fix some of the items on the list and third time to put in fan cover in bathroom and check tie downs also they are saying my main complaint was house vibrated when the clothes washer drained. my main complaint was the home sways when the wind blows so I thought maybe the tie downs needed checked or the jacks checked. also no main person from Hathways ever came out to even check on my complaints. also they never checked the soffitt and fascia or the scratch on the north side of home clean down the house. No one has checked these. I propably called them at least times and Greg the maintenance man would never return my calls

I have done a lot to help the ***..I offered to buy them land and purchase and install a home in the excess of 230,I also would help them carry this until they could sign a loan at the end..I am out hundreds of thousands of dollars if they do not complete the purchase!!..Their agreement, which was signed, is my way of trusting that they will carry their end of the contract..They put a down payment of 3% down and I trusted them to sign the loan at the end The manufacturer is running behind schedule which is out of my controlOnce the home is complete I can do all in my power to be quick and efficient at installing their new modular home..Simply put, I would not back out on them if they were a few extra weeks, rounding up necessary documents to close their loan..Maybe the *** should expend their energy writing letters to our countries steel, wood and materials manufactures to try and expedite ..They are blaming Hathaway Homes yet we are on their side..I want this deal completed as badly as they do..I have no reason to take their 3% down and retire!! I WANT THIS COMPLETED AND A HAPPY CUSTOMER..tell them to work with me instead of against me..I even offered to pay their storage fee!

I am rejecting this response because: I have contracts before said contract was signed and that home sat out there because it was ordered for someone else, it didnt even have the correct colirs I wantedThe home was sold to someone else, and when that home came in there was not a foundation poured yet, it was poured after that home was soldHe also told me I couldnt have a bigger home because it wasnt allowed on that lot, that was a lie I went myself and inquired about it and I could have a larger home and he said oh I didnt know, and then called in one of the M*** brothers to ask if it was possible to make the foundation larger Mr? M*** said yesI informed Paul that I needed a handicap shower installed and he assured me everything would be as I needed and likedI have a witness about the home choices he said we could have a smaller home and then switch it out in a couple years down the road, I cant do that, my health wont allow me to.? When we first applied for the loan he said we couldnt have the bigger home because of the financing, but then told me that we could and to keep trying other banksI didnt have any of these problems when I bought my first home with my ex husband.?

We have been back numerous times to take care of service issues.. This home was installed in a manufactured home park without a foundation. Customer is complaining that the home shakes when her washing machine spins..We have set the home to State specs and installed tie downs..Most homes will have...

movement around the spinning of a washer.  She could move the home onto a permanent cement foundation but even this would not stop all movement in her home.Tell us why here...

Customer purchased a land/home from Hathaways..I notified the [redacted] about time frame for completion..I offered many things including land purchase and home and infrastructure as well as utility hookups..Down payment will not be returned if they choose to cancel.

We sent [redacted] to this home twice, and no one answered the door.  We have also has another contractor there several times to address the issues that were Hathaway Homes responsibility.  The closets were built by the factory not Hathaway Homes Group, so it is the factories warranty that...

is responsible for the repairs.  The factory has been contacted to let them know that this needs to be addressed.  [redacted] hired a [redacted] contractor to fix the ceiling and we agreed to pay the invoice.  In the correspondence [redacted] sent to [redacted], she stated the home had been rented.  This may effect the factory warranty.

We have had contractors out to their home working on getting all the issues fixed.  We will be sending another one out next week.  I have been in contact with Mrs. [redacted] to keep her up to date with the scheduled time of the contractors coming.

Greg cannot recall being contacted by the [redacted].  We do have them on the call back list now that we are aware, and will definitely get to their home for the necessary adjustments and repairs.

I am rejecting this response because:Mr Hathaway is well aware that after I viewed the model on his lot, it was too large for my needs.  I subsequently ordered a smaller model.  It was to have been ordered at the plant in its entirety on May 11, 2017.  It was "guaranteed" according to Hathaway to be completed (at the factory) 120 days from order.  This would have been on or about 9/11/2017.  We worked with Greg M[redacted] (manager) at Hathaway all summer long preparing a foundation for the smaller model (for which HATHAWAY sent the plans).  On September 29th, I found out (while researching specifications for the furnace) that Hathaway had not even finished the order NOR sent the deposit for the plans.  He has had my $30,000 since March 11, 2017, and has produced NOTHING!  I would like immediate return of my $30,000 which is supposed to have been held in an escrow account.  No home has been ordered.  No home has been built.  No home has been delivered.  I would like immediate return of my $30,000.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  The response from Paul H[redacted] with Hathaway Homes Group is not accurate.  According to information received from the manufacturer, the home is NOT in the process of being built as indicated in the response from Hathaway Homes Group.  Champion Home Builders (the manufacturer), has stated that the home will go into production on January 20, 2016. Both Hathaway Homes Group and Champion Home Builders have provided multiple  "scheduled production dates" beginning on November 15, 2016 all of which have not occurred.Sincerely,[redacted]

On our "Notice of Things To Do and Responsibilities of Purchaser" agreement, line 22 states:  As purchaser, you are responsible to notify Hathaway Homes Group for all callback repairs to fix tape and texture cracks with in 12 months of occupancy.
If we would have known they were having issues...

with their home settling causing cracks, we would have already sent someone to fix it.  We have no other way of knowing when customers have problems.
