I have been a responsible tenant of an apartment owned and operated by this landlord After I moved out the apartment at the completion of the lease, the landlord has usurped all of my security deposit Reason : An alleged stain on the stove Even if it exists, it can't be no more than a plain water stain that may have splashed from plain boiling water which could be cleaned with a sponge very quickly This is a ridiculous and a completely baseless reason for usurping all the security deposit The landlord probably saw in me a hardworking and simple graduate student who spends his entire day working in the lab and thought that he could run me over with this without any retaliationThis kind of predatory behavior is completely unacceptable I want my security deposit back
