After purchasing the phone from your ***, months later the phone was giving me charging issues. When I called Samsung & T-Mobile regarding possible repairs, I was informed by them that the phone was NOT new however it was re-manufactured. Furthermore both companies had stated that the IMEI numbers on the phone did not match the particular phone which was sold to me. I never had the phone repaired by Samsung or T-Mobile I only inquired. Also, I was under the impression that I purchased a NEW phone from your store. This phone was clearly NOT new. Review: Went to 3rd Avenue Wireless to buy a Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone. Phone was advertised by store as new, but with box opened. Cost of cell phone was $500. Store employee informed me that I could make monthly payments on the cell phone, if I put a deposit of $100 down up front. Store employee did not inform me that they would be referring my future payments to a finance [redacted] for collection, nor was I provided a contract or terms of agreement. Upon further investigation, after calling T-Mobile & Samsung for troubleshooting issues, I was informed by them that the cell phone was a remanufactured phone. There is a sticker attached to the inside of the phone which states so as well.

Furthermore, I am constantly receiving phone calls from [redacted] in regards to non-payment. The reason for this is when I spoke to representatives from [redacted], I was informed that the phone which I had agreed to purchase at the store for $500, according to them actually costs $1000 when all of their fianance fees are factored in. I did not agree to pay $1000 for the phone, nor did I agree to having a finance [redacted] arrange for payments. When I spoke to [redacted] representative, they claim to have my electronic signature on file, however they have stated to me that it was emailed to an email address which I am unfamiliar with and is not mine. I have never seen a copy of my electronic signature nor did I sign anything, and I refuse to provide this [redacted] with any of my information for fear of fraud.Desired Settlement: I would like $100 refund for the deposit of the phone, and I would like [redacted] to terminate phone calls and alleged contract made with them. If I need to return the phone to help rectify the matter I will do so.

To Whom This May Concern:

Customer purchased this phone almost one year ago. The customer was informed that the phone is $500.00 usd. She chose to take the financing plan. We did inform the customer that progressive offers a 90 day buy out option. For the same msrp $500.00.

The customer then chose to continue paying the mininum amount due. Just like any credit card [redacted] they will always be charged more and more intrest as long as she will continue to pay the minunum amount due. She will continue to be charged more and more intrest. My reccomendation is to pay the phone full amount toward the principle and stop paying intrest. Customer was told about all of this when she provided her personal information. I understand the consume is denyining that fact. So we will use a little common sense if she said her self she knew the price of phone was $500.00 and she only paid $100.00 then obviously that remaining $400.00 had to come from somewhere. Now a year later the customer decides to make a complaint and would like to get a refund?? The phone has been in use for over a year now!! And in regards to the phone being refurbished we do not take responsibilty for when customers purchase brand new phones in our store and then couple months down the road decides to repair the phone. I have inspected the phone and saw that the phone has been opened the warranty sticker is no longer on the back of the phone and that automacially voids warranty. Please advise customer to go back to where she had the repair to her phone done. And complain there for changing the motherboard on her phone.
