Thank you for the updates, we have a long a strong track record of satisfiedcustomers and do everything we can to keep them that way This complaint was not filed by our clientit was submitted by our clientsfiancé, she was neither on the contract involved in the payments of thiscontract nor living in the home at the time of this project I understand the Revdex.com and other reputableorganizations have clear guidelines regarding who is and is not entitled to filea complaintWe understand planning a wedding, mergingtwo households, planning trips abroad, and a social calendar that includesjunkets to Los Vegas can take a toll on your nerves and finances Thesimple truth of this matter is as follows I quoted a price forthe project that he, ( our client ) detailed for me We agreed on aprice based on the layout and square footage of the additionHe agreed and weexecuted a contract based on those detailsDuring the design and layoutphase my client and his fiancé made some design changes with my staff thatincreased the project size and scope by more than 1/and upgraded anumber of the materialsThey asked me over the phone what the cost differencewould be and I told them it was based on the square footage and the upgradesand I didn't or couldn't know until they had finished making all the changesBasedon the description it did not sound as if much was being changed from theoriginal planWhen we had all of the information in hand I updated thecontract price per standard operating procedure to keep all of us on the samepageIt came as a shock that the incoming fiancé' felt that adding 30%more square feet and upgrading to high end shower and bath fixtures wouldnot impact the price I explained this several times to my clientwho seemed to understand but then later he would come back with the sameobjections and accusations of misrepresenting the original cost to get the bidI am aware that this is done sometimes by some contractors particularlyin government work but it is not how we conduct business and I am way torelational to ever pull that kind of stuntI offered to meet with both of themto clear this up but she was never available to do that It is a matterof fact that our costs per square foot did not change, but the squarefootage did, the allowances we included were enough to provide what my clienthad originally asked for It is not at all reasonable to complain orattempt to damage our reputation when my client and his fiancé' willingly andknowingly made changes to the scope of without any intention of paying forthem.I will also point out that even though wewere subjected to these unreasonable expectations and accusationsquestioning our honesty and integrity all of my team has stayed professionaland courteous throughout thisprocess Duane W***3R’s Construction Management LLCwww.3rsconstruction

I concur that the contract was under *** name, but as his wife I shared equally inthe decisions of the contract and payments to 3R’s on OUR home, where we bothliveThis qualifies me as a ‘customer’ of 3R’s construction, and entitles meto have and share my opinion about our unsatisfactory experience with thiscompanyLet me begin by saying that I do not appreciatethe insinuation that our “social calendar”, household merging, weddingplanning, etchad anything to do with our experience dealing with this companyor this projectThe project was separately and adequately financed prior to 3R’sinflating the price of the contractAnd to assert that we “upgraded to highend shower and bath fixtures” is preposterousI sent examples and photos ofthe type of shower, vanity, etcthat I wanted to the company from the beginning, which they, by oversight or intention, did not properly price or include in thebid.I will also point out that the complaints and unsatisfactoryreviews that I have made against 3R’s is not unreasonable or an attempt todamage their reputation, but rather my right as a customer to express mydissatisfaction with their work and give other homeowners that may be consideringusing them a fair assessment of the potential negative experience that they mayhave if using this companyNow, in order to follow the protocol of the Revdex.com,I will end this complaint process here and leave it up to *** as to whether tofile a formal complaint under his name*** ***

living in the home at the time of this project. I understand the Revdex.com and other reputableorganizations have clear guidelines regarding who is and is not entitled to filea complaint. We understand planning a wedding, mergingtwo households, planning trips abroad, and a social calendar that includesjunkets to Los Vegas can take a toll on your nerves and finances. Thesimple truth of this matter is as follows. I quoted a price forthe project that he, ( our client ) detailed for me. We agreed on aprice based on the layout and square footage of the addition. He agreed and weexecuted a contract based on those details. During the design and layoutphase my client and his fiancé made some design changes with my staff thatincreased the project size and scope by more than 1/3 and upgraded anumber of the materials. They asked me over the phone what the cost differencewould be and I told them it was based on the square footage and the upgradesand I didn't or couldn't know until they had finished making all the changes. Basedon the description it did not sound as if much was being changed from theoriginal plan. When we had all of the information in hand I updated thecontract price per standard operating procedure to keep all of us on the samepage. It came as a shock that the incoming fiancé' felt that adding 30%more square feet and upgrading to high end shower and bath fixtures wouldnot impact the price. I explained this several times to my clientwho seemed to understand but then later he would come back with the sameobjections and accusations of misrepresenting the original cost to get the bid. I am aware that this is done sometimes by some contractors particularlyin government work but it is not how we conduct business and I am way torelational to ever pull that kind of stunt. I offered to meet with both of themto clear this up but she was never available to do that. It is a matterof fact that our costs per square foot did not change, but the squarefootage did, the allowances we included were enough to provide what my clienthad originally asked for. It is not at all reasonable to complain orattempt to damage our reputation when my client and his fiancé' willingly andknowingly made changes to the scope of without any intention of paying forthem.I will also point out that even though wewere subjected to these unreasonable expectations and accusationsquestioning our honesty and integrity all of my team has stayed professionaland courteous throughout thisprocess.
