My name is *** *** and I'm filing a dispute against Kevin's Transmission in reference of my Infiniti QX
I took my Infiniti QXto Kevin's Transmission on 8/30/to have my transmission rebuiltI paid $Deposit for partsWhen I picked my vehicle up on 9/1/I paid the balance o $As I was leaving I noticed that the service engine light was still onI told the Technician Tommy that the service engine light was on and he cleared it and told me that it may have not been resetHe advice me that if the service engine light pops back up to bring the vehicle back because it's covered under a warrantyI drove the vehicle home and the very next day the service engine light appeared again.I contacted Kevin's Transmission and told them that the service engine light was on again.I took the vehicle back on 9/6/17.They kept the vehicle and checked the vehicle out again, cleared the code Pagain and told me the problem was solved.I picked the vehicle up o 9/14/
Had my transmission rebuilt on my Chrysler Pacifica in December by this placeMy car was jolting when it came to a complete stop RPMs were reflecting miles per hour at a complete stopIt was also having some whining issues and a vibration coming from my passenger tireThey told me They needed to rebuild my transmission and ball bearingsKevin and the rest of the staff took a little longer than I was told but was very kindI was given an 18-month warranty for the work that they didTwo months later my transmission starts acting up in the same exact manner that it was beforeI dropped it back off to them and they replaced a speed sensor on it but called me back to explain that it was an alternator issue which didn't seem to make any sense to meI took it to a Chrysler dealership to get a second opinion and they stated no issues came back other than a speed sensor and that my sway bar needed to be replaced which is why the humming never went away in my carBrought it back again to Kevins to get it replaced again since it very well could have been a faulty partBut they called yet again to say that my alternator was still the issue putting out too much voltage which is probably why it's sending mixed signals to the brain of my carI explained to them well if this was is the issue now that it must have been the issue beforehand as wellI paid for my ball bearings to get replaced in my tire, and it wasn't the ball bearings it was sway bar linksThey also snapped a bolt on my rim where my lug nuts go and is now too short to put another nut on which I didnt notice because a cap is over the nuts and had to plug my tire a week before I brought it back to them .They are trying to charge me another $to replace the alternatorI already paid $1,for them them to fix the issue and I explained to them that it is absolutely ridiculous that I paid for my transmission to get fixed months before and obviously the issue wasn't fixed since its displaying the same problemSo why should I have to fork out another $for an issue that wasn't even fixed in the first place considering I have an month warranty? And now I have more issues not being fixed and damaged done to my car concerning the sway bar links and the fact that my bolt is now snapped on my tire and that would have to get replaced as wellI keep being told that my message and my concerns will be passed on to Kevin and they let me know what their decision will be and that they will have him contact meIt has been over a month of them having my car, the Chrysler dealership had it only days in between this time before it was dropped off again to kevins and they have had my car for another weeks nowI have called almost every day, yet have still not gotten a response from Kevin or from the shop pertaining to what they are going to do about fixing my carIf my alternator is not replaced free of charge or money returned to me for what it's going to cost me to have the part replaced by another shop, considering they never fixed the issue in the first place, I will take this to courtI had my transmission rebuilt when it probably wasn't even the issue, had a bolt snapped on my tire, had the wrong parts replaced for the ball bearings instead of my sway bar, I have an month warranty that is not being honored and part of me feels like I got charged for a rebuilt transmission and it really wasn't even replacedI wouldn't be surprisedReally wish I would have taken it to somewhere else more reliable even if it meant more money at that time rather than having to deal with headacheDo not take your vehicles here unless you want to get screwed over
