Review: I had my dog boarded back in May by 4 paws and was charged for a X-ray that I was not supposed to have been. They assured me I would get my money back and kept saying they was issuing it, they didn't have time, they forgot, they sent it to their accountant, come back tomorrow, along with many other excuses. It's for $60 and almost September. That's really ridiculous for a company who has such a strict policy on paying them at time of service. I honored my part, now it's time to honor yours.Desired Settlement: I just want my money instead of a excuse.

This letter is in response to a complaint against 4 Paws Veterinary, dated 8/25/15 by Revdex.com,initiated by email on 8/23/15 by [redacted].Mr. [redacted] brought his dog, "Baby Girl", to the clinic on 5/7/15 for vaccines and initial exam inorder to board her with 4 Paws Veterinary Hospital beginning 5/15/15. He filled out and signedthe Boarding Agreement with 4 Paws and designated [redacted] as his emergency contact.On 5/18/15 the kennel worker advised me the dog had vomited 2 times; large amount of food,and that her BM's had been normal. The dog was nervous and was rubbing her nose on thekennel door. Ms. [redacted] was contacted with this information and Okayed treatment. Anabdominal x-ray was done to rule out obstruction, foreign body, etc. After viewing the x-ray, Itreated her with medication; Cerenia 24mg, 2 tablets and 16 mg, 1 tablet by mouth and put her onEN veterinary diet; the owner was not charged for the prescription food provided for hersymptoms. The dog improved upon receiving the proper treatment and was in good health whenshe was picked up on May 26, 2015.I did what was necessary for the dog left in my care and contacted the proper agent for the owner(please see the copy of the boarding agreement). Mr. [redacted] has been refunded (please see copyof check issued) and I request that this information be attached to his complaint. I did what wasright and necessary; I do not feel his complaint is valid and believe any other conscientiousVeterinarian would have done the same.Thank you.[redacted]4 Paws Veterinary
