Review: On April 14, 2015 I was contacted by phone by a person who identified themselves as a representative with [redacted]. He informed me that my old email address had been hacked and that my computer had been hacked along with our residence network and all other computers using the network. He referred me to a person who identified themselves as being a technician with [redacted]. They advised me that they would check my computers and remove any viruses. He indicated there would be a charge of $299.99 for their service agreement. He also indicated that I would have seven (7) days to cancel the agreement. They sent me an electronic document to sign which I signed and $299.99 was charged to my credit card. I then took one of my computers to a local computer technician and was informed that my computer was clean and that there were no viruses on it and that the whole deal was probably a scam. On April 17, 2015 I called [redacted] and requested that the agreement be cancelled immediately and informed them that the reason was that I felt that I had been manipulated and was sold their services under false pretenses. I sent them an email on April 17, 2015 confirming my request to cancel and the reasons why. The agreement that I signed turned out to be with a firm named 4Square Ventures LLC. They declined to refund the $299.99 and I was informed that the contract is a one time support Agreement and there are no refunds.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $299.99.
