My Name is [redacted] and I am the manager of 40 Berkeley. We operate a hostel here in Boston and much like most of the hotels in Boston we charge a cleaning fee when a guest smokes in one of our rooms. Mrs. [redacted] was smoking marijuana in her room and was charged the cleaning fee. I have...

attached a copy of the welcome packet that all guest of 40 Berkeley receives upon check in outlining the smoking policy.  When the incident happened we gave Mrs. [redacted] the option of leaving the hostel instead of paying the fine but she chose to pay the fine and stay.
