On 04/16/2016, [redacted] purchased a 2006 Chevy Cobalt (4 doors) from me in exchange of his 2008 Chevy Cobalt (2 doors) plus $1,000. [redacted] ... paid $600 on 04/16/2016; had a remaining balance of $400.00. The sale was final and sold as is. Two days later [redacted] showed up to my shop and told the manager [redacted] that he wants his car back. [redacted] informed him that we had done $600.00 worth of repairs to the car. [redacted] than ran into my office and started opening all the drawers in my desk. When confronted, [redacted] punched one of my employees on the face. All my employees got together and chased him out of the shop. I was getting threatening text messages from [redacted] , but a week later he apologized so I give him another chance to lvesolve the matter and pay his debt. At that time he came with a tire iron rod in his hand. We reported him to the authorities. Never the less, [redacted] , still text me to tell me that that he is reporting the car stolen. He has gone on web site and posted false comments to give my establishment bad reputation. I have saved all the text messages from this scandalous person. I saw one on craigslist, a Chevy cobalt with a pretty good paint job (obviosly there is more to a car)It was advertised as 68,miles and no check engine lightSo I went to go see it with my girlfriendOnce there, the manager, *** *** greeted me and showed me to the car, the smog place and the street looked visually off to me, but I gave the benefit of the doubt and proceededI went in the car as he was given the keysOne the outside, car looked great, inside a different story, I cranked the car, as in description, no engine light so far, trunk worked fine, although "trunk open" light stayed onBut as advertised 68,miles.The aesthetics inside of car were unpleasing , although similar to cobalt of that timeTest drove it, a little bumpy but seemed fineI checked oil, was dark, needed replacing, but I attend a technical school, so I think I could take care of general maintenence.I like what I saw (stupid as I was), and ended up paying as a downpaymentCar was

Time to finally write a review after coming to 40th, Auto! Been coming here since I bought my first car more than years agoNow, cars later plus my four family members who also come here for our oil change and tune-up, I would like to say thank you! This is the only location who never lies about their wait time and I'm always in and out no later than an hour wait timeThey have always been consistent with their service and pricingNever has it changed, never have I felt like they pushed me into anything and I'm always comfortable coming inThanks for everything! We took our car there the first week of March and they still have NOT fixed the carThey keep making excuses EVERY TIME WE GO THERE AND CALLWe gave them a $cash payment and now they are demanding more money to move forward and they have NOT even done any work to fix itThey have it all torn apart and refuse to put it back together and they are basically holding the car hostage unless we give them more moneyThe owner *** *** *** said that they sent the heads out to be rebuilt and that it was a waste of time and that we needed to buy another engineHe said he already used the $but refuses to show us receipts how the money was spent and/or to show us he has done work to our carHe and his mechanic are blaming one another for the delays and the mechanic said that Paul has not paid him for the work so he is not going to fix itI am seeking an immediate return of the $cash and the return of our car in the same condition that we gave it to him because they've had
