Had the best customer service when I booked my trip... Will definitely use them again

My brothers upcoming wedding to Jamaica is May 2020, and to secure your group rate you had to make sure you paid a $150 deposit per person by a specific date last year (October I believe) and the remainder of your balance is to be paid by March 9th, 2020. When my husband and I paid our deposit we paid $500, leaving a remaining balance of $2500. We have been putting money aside to make sure we have this paid by the cut off date.

This week it was brought to my attention that Lamar with 411 Travel Buys did not put that payment through. There were two other couples deposits she also didn't put through, luckily for them they could afford to find the $300 they were counting to be off the total of their trip.
It is roughly two weeks until the cut off date and we have to come up with $500.

This doesn't seem like a lot but a family with two children *** is something we cannot do. This leaves me and my husband now backing out and not attending my brothers wedding that we were supposed to be standing in.

I am not sure why she took it upon herself to not put my payment through last year as well as others. I have not received a response to my email in regards to this matter.

It has also been brought to the wedding parties attention that if everyone is not paid by the given date, everyone's trip price will increase $220... which is unheard of! That means even if you have paid on time you are being penalized. Any destination wedding I have attended, if someone does not pay on time they lose out. Not make everyone suffer. Who is receiving this additional $220 per guest? I'm assuming the agency because it is not going toward the resort. Ridiculous!
