I sent this to you last week could you please confirm receipt if not I will fax also thank you Kim 970-224-4294In reference to Id *** complaints On the issue of the carburetor, several month before *** had vehicle towed to our shop for the water pump she had stopped by with
her vehicle explaining she had stalling and idle issues. I spent a considerable amount of time in the parking lot working on her carburetor and got the motor idling and not stalling at no charge to her. I suggested that the carburetor would need rebuilding or replaced. The $*** is referring to is for a new carburetor and Labor to install. On the issue of the leak, the vehicle was towed in for a coolant leak issue which we replaced the water pump. While there I notified *** that the vehicle was having issues starting identified that the engine had jumped time (timing chain jump sprocket). After ***’s approval we replaced timing chain and related parts including the front seal. The carburetor was still having problem and my tech spent several hours until he was able to get it to run ok again without any charge to her. *** again was notified that the carburetor needs work and they said they did not have the money and would have to bring it back latermonths later November *** called and said she had the carburetor work done by another company who stated the front of the motor was leaking appears to be the front cover or oil pan and she wants it fixed under warranty of timing chain repair. I told her we needed to look at it to identify the leak issue. The vehicle was trailered in by another lady on November for inspection and possible repair of issue. I looked at it on the trailer seeing lots of oil and explained would need to do engine oil dye to identify where the leak was coming from if this was a warranty issue we would take care of it. I also explained I could not do it that day as I had other customers vehicles on the hoists that would have to be completed but would work it in within a few days (Thanksgiving was November 26) I did not say that she would be charged storage fees as I have never in the years of business charged someone for storage feesThe lady who brought vehicle in felt they could not wait the few days and wanted to know if we would pay another shop for the repair. I explained “No” if after inspection it was a warranty issue like the new seal previously installed was faulty we would install a new one at nc. The lady was upset and left with the vehicle.I strongly feel I went above and beyond trying to help *** with the stalling problems with the carburetor which has been an issue before any or our work as per my first paragraph and do not owe her any reimbursement as she did not give us the opportunity to inspect and possibly repair if it would have been a warranty issue

In reference to  Id [redacted] complaints
On the issue of the carburetor, several month before [redacted] had vehicle towed to our shop for the  water pump she...

had stopped by with her vehicle explaining she had stalling and idle issues.  I spent a considerable amount of time in the parking lot working on her carburetor and got the motor idling and not stalling at no charge to her.  I suggested that  the carburetor would need rebuilding or replaced.  The $450 [redacted] is referring to is for a new carburetor and Labor to install. On the issue of the leak, the vehicle was towed in for a coolant leak issue which we replaced the water pump.  While there I notified [redacted] that the vehicle was having issues starting identified that the engine had jumped time (timing chain jump sprocket).  After [redacted]’s approval we replaced timing chain and related parts including the front seal.  The carburetor was still having problem and my tech spent several hours until he was able to get it to run ok again without any charge to her.  [redacted] again was notified that the carburetor needs work and they said they did not have the money and would have to bring it back later.
4 months later November 23 [redacted] called and said she had the carburetor work done by another company who stated the front of the motor was leaking appears to be the front cover or oil pan and she wants it fixed under warranty of timing chain repair.  I told her we needed to look at it to identify the leak issue.
The vehicle was trailered  in by another lady on November 24 for inspection and possible repair of issue.  I looked at it on the trailer seeing lots of oil and explained would need to do engine oil dye to identify where the leak was coming from if this was a warranty issue we would take care of it.  I also explained I could not do it that day as I had other customers vehicles on the hoists that would have to be completed but would work it in within a few days (Thanksgiving was November 26)  I did not say that she would be charged storage fees as I have never in the 30 years of business charged someone for storage fees.
The lady who brought vehicle in felt they could not wait the few days and wanted to know if we would pay another shop for the repair.  I explained “No” if after inspection it was a warranty issue like the new seal previously installed was faulty  we would install a new one  at nc.  The lady was upset and left with the vehicle.
I strongly feel I went above and beyond trying to help [redacted] with the stalling problems  with the carburetor  which has been an issue before any or our work as per my first paragraph  and do not owe her any reimbursement as she did not give us the opportunity to inspect and possibly repair if it would have been a warranty issue.
