I am rejecting this response because:When I filed this complaint, I was hoping we could settle this like responsible adultsHowever, with the lies you have written above, it seems that is no longer the caseThe truth is that the day I got my car washed (January 20th), I called and left a message after finding the damageI was later called back by Mike (the manager) who asked me to come in the next day so he could see my carI quickly agreed and came to Bucky’s between 10:and (after attending church at *** ***) This call lasted minute and seconds (you can check my cell phone log)That is not nearly enough time for me to me to make any demandsThe conversation the business claimed we had over the phone never happenedWe weren’t even on the phone that longI waited to talk to them until I came the next day because I did come the next day to show them my carIt was super snowy and hard to see the damage on my carI offered to show them (Mike and another man who did most of the talking) pictures so they could more accurately see the scratches and missing paint when my car is dryThey ignored my offer, insisting that there was nothing that could have scratched my carI could tell that nothing I said would convince themThey did, however, tell me that the missing paint was probably from their sprayerAt the very least, I should be reimbursed for my cost in touching up that paintAt no point during my visit did they ever mention the video footage they supposedly have of my car being damaged before the washIf they had shown this to me, I would have immediately left, content that I was wrongBut this did not happenI was extremely polite, thanked them for taking time out of their day to see me, and leftI then filed this complaint in hopes that if enough people complain, something will be doneToo many people just move on and let others become victims.The reply I received from the business was a complete lie, and f they lied about me, I wonder what other situations they have lied aboutThe Revdex.com should look further into past claims made against Bucky’sThere seems to be a pattern in their repliesAccording to the company, the customers are rude and demandingI am here to testify that this is falseMaybe the claims they have made against other concerned customers (like the one whose mirror was ripped off her car) are also inaccurate.Thank you

Ms. [redacted] called me to complain that our wash damaged her car.  Since I had not seen the car, I asked her to come back in for me to look at what she was claiming was damaged.  She demanded that I agree over the phone that I was going to repair her car without seeing it.  I...

explained that I could not authorize the repair until I looked at the car.  Not satisfied with my answer, she stated she would NOT come to the wash because it would be a waste of her time.  We videotape every car as it enters the tunnel.  I went back to the cameras for the day/time she went though our tunnel.  Her claim that there was no previous damage is inaccurate.  There is a glare on the roof of her car that limits our ability to see any damage to the top of the car, however we can clearly see pre-existing damage to the sides of her car.  The day she claims this occurred, we washed over 300 cars.  There were no other complaints that day for scratches.  Our equipment is designed to avoid scratches, yet sometimes something can get caught in the cloth.  But if something was in the cloth that would produce any scratching, more cars would have the same experience.  She stated her reason for filing a complaint was to ensure no other customer would be affected like her.  Well, over 300 cars that day AND thousands since have not had her experience.We claim responsibility for any damage that is caused by equipment malfunctions and we work closely with our customers to resolve any problems.  However, we cannot and should not be expected to repair pre-existing damage.

We, again, apologize for this situation.  I am the Director of Operations and completely responsible for any and all Damage Claims.  Thank you for attaching the pictures for me to finally see your car and the damage done.  Eric, the manager, and Mike, an assistant manager recall meeting with you and your husband to discuss your claim.  I can tell from your pictures that there is no way we caused the scratches.  There is no piece of equipment that can generate a scratch like that - even if the equipment was malfunctioning.  Eric told me that he even walked you and your husband through the tunnel to show you that it was impossible for us to do the scratches. Eric believed that you were satisfied with the explanation and visual inspection.  He said you even discussed the fact that the company from which you purchased the vehicle might have touched up the paint on your car.  But your car was extremely dirty when you came in. We do have videotape and it clearly shows the chips on the mirrors and we know we could not have done the scratches.  Again, we hate that you have had this experience, but we are clearly not responsible for the damages on your car.  I will be happy to show you the videotape, if you'd like.  Please feel free to call me at (303) 716-2586 or you may ask for Eric if you'd rather work with him to show you the videotape.Signed, Laura A[redacted]Director of Operations
