This roof was done yrsago this roof is an unusual one, It appears to have several add-onsI has several humps and dipsthe water has no where to go but up or down, I've spent a lot of money trying to repair a roof that needs more pitchthe water sits up there, I've broomed
the roof several times to put silicone and roof coatingthe east side of the house is where the leak is I've told them to let me put a pitch on that side, they haven't told me anything about doing the pitch which it needs badlyThey have also installed an A/c unit on the east side of the house on top of the roofEvery time they call me, I do show up and broom off the roof and put silicone or roof coatingI've very sorry they want to discredit me this way, I did my best for what was there.

I am rejecting this response because: Mr. [redacted] being a contractor should have known that the roof needed more pitch when he first contracted to do roof. why did he not tell us then ? we have also spend lots of money trying to repair damage inside our house. We thought Mr. [redacted] was an honest contractor, he did come sweep but we had problem with leaks ever since roof was installed., more leaks then before we had re-roof. His warranty must not mean much since roof was never fixed to our satisfaction. He should have been honest and told us he did not know how to do this type of roof and we could have gotten other bids. Now we have to have a new roof installed and will cost us more than we can afford thanks to Mr. [redacted] bad installation. We think he owes at least our deductible since the roof leaked since he first installed it. The contractor that we got a bid for new roof told us this house should have never been shingled. Now he is saying that only small part of roof needs repair but when we first spoke to him about roof he told us it was too hard to find leaks on roofs. The patching he did , he did not clean off roof and most of patching came off. The leaks are not where our A/c is so that is not to blame. Our income is limited but since he didn't do the right roof, now we are out more money for a new roof , so we would like for him to step up and do the honest thing and pay for our dedutible.

I am rejecting this response because: WE think he should pay our deductible which is $1000.00 . Told me about putting pitch on roof but never followed up on it . our air conditioner has always been on that side for house. he does show up but problem was never resolved. I went several times to Broom water off this odd roof it definetly needs to be re-structured or new framing. Even though my warranttee had already expired, (1 year) I never, asked for money for our labor and material because our wives were very best of friends. It's not the entire roof its just a small section of the east side and they did replace the A/C since we were there. We did talk about pitch roof, but wood be to expensive.

This roof has to be seen, it is hard to explain the bad construction of this roof. They know how bad it is constructed, they have even admitted to it. This roof has rolls, ridges, hills, bumps. It does have enough pitch to shingle. Some parts I did not shingle I put rolled roofing. I debated doing this roof, but I did it anyway, I did the best I could do. They didn’t have enough money for a high-grade roof system or to install a new slope or pitch. I feel really bad for these customers but this roof probably needs either more pitch or High-Grade Roofing System.
