Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Mr [redacted] being a contractor should have known that the roof needed more pitch when he first contracted to do roofwhy did he not tell us then ? we have also spend lots of money trying to repair damage inside our houseWe thought Mr [redacted] was an honest contractor, he did come sweep but we had problem with leaks ever since roof was installed., more leaks then before we had re-roofHis warranty must not mean much since roof was never fixed to our satisfaction He should have been honest and told us he did not know how to do this type of roof and we could have gotten other bidsNow we have to have a new roof installed and will cost us more than we can afford thanks to Mr [redacted] bad installation We think he owes at least our deductible since the roof leaked since he first installed it The contractor that we got a bid for new roof told us this house should have never been shingled Now he is saying that only small part of roof needs repair but when we first spoke to him about roof he told us it was too hard to find leaks on roofs The patching he did , he did not clean off roof and most of patching came offThe leaks are not where our A/c is so that is not to blame Our income is limited but since he didn't do the right roof, now we are out more money for a new roof , so we would like for him to step up and do the honest thing and pay for our dedutible Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
This roof has to be seen, it is hard to explain the bad construction of this roofThey know how bad it is constructed, they have even admitted to itThis roof has rolls, ridges, hills, bumpsIt does have enough pitch to shingleSome parts I did not shingle I put rolled roofingI debated doing this roof, but I did it anyway, I did the best I could doThey didn’t have enough money for a high-grade roof system or to install a new slope or pitchI feel really bad for these customers but this roof probably needs either more pitch or High-Grade Roofing System Thank You, [redacted] P.S Its not the entire roof, its just the small section on the east side, that’s the only part they told me about so thats where I was brooming all the water off the roof
