I understand the frustration of the customer, but to recall on the exact situation, the tow company is not capable of releasing the car without the correct paperwork from the owner and the police department. The owner is capable of retrieving the car if both sets of paper work are correct and given at the time of retrieval. I am a tow company that is open 7 days a week. I offer convenient hours of operation for the customer. In this circumstance, the police did NOT have the paperwork for the vehicle to be picked up until Monday morning when it was sent over when the customer came to pick up the vehicles. He was then charged regular ROTO rates based on the property clerk not being in to give the correct paperwork. Not only that, but this customer never even called on Saturday or Sunday to retrieve the vehicles. He was told at the time of tow that we were closed for the night since it was 7pm on a Friday. Review: My truck was involved in an accident in which my vehicle was towed to their business for storage until I came to get it. It was left for 6 days and my property was stolen out of my truck. Someone who works there took the time out to uninstall and remove my radio and amp worth $800. They acted like they had no clue on what happened to it and was unremorseful and rude. The customer service was horrible and still had to pay them money to get the vehicle even tho they stole my propery out of my truck. Before the vehicle was released to me the owner Chris told us that his son had asked about the radio. Then when we got the vehicle it was gone. I have every reason to believe that they have my property. Wouldn't recommend their business to anyone.Desired Settlement: I would like my property replaced. If not I want them to go on record for bad business practices.

Review: Parkchester Preservation is a community within the Bronx which allows residence 15 minutes to park in front of their buildings. This timeframe allows residents to move objects from their car to their place of residence. Five J's Automotive LTD towed my car from my place of residence before the allowed 15 minute time frame. I contacted Five J's Automotive LTD who stated that Parkechester Preservation contacted them to tow the vehicle. I contacted Parkchester Preservation who stated that they do not contact Five J's Automotive LTD. Five J's Automotive LTD drives around the community to find cars without drivers. Five J's Automotive LTD has now charged me $136 to remove my car from their storage facility after they unlawfully towed my car. I am attempting to obtain video footage which will account for the time I spent moving the heavy object from my car; which was less than 10 minutes. Five J's Automotive LTD has given me the run around and it is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I have seen this company tow many cars away prior to the 15 minute allowed timeframe . I would like a refund of the $136 for my car which was towed unlawfully. I would also like the company to abide by the rules of Parkchester instead of trying to make a quick buck from hard working citizens.

In regards to complaint ID#[redacted] this vehicle was not towed for any time frame of being parked. This vehicle was towed for no flashers on the vehicle as on tow report "reason towed" and this letter enclosed by parkchester. If I could be of any furthur assistance please call me.

This auto company truly showed they appreciated me as customer by taking the time to thoroughly fix my vehicles & I'm glad I found a great place of business. I live in Manhattan but will travel anywhere this business goes to continue getting great service.

I have been to numerous autoshops over the years but when I came across This company it was by far the best service experience ever. I must say that I'm completely overly satisfied with their excellent level of service. Five J you're the greatest??????????
