This dealership is fraudulent in every aspect there is!!! Customer service is ridiculousThey lie to customers and once your there they try to fish every dollar they can out of youThey sell salvaged vehicles and wrecked cars for the price of a BRAND-NEW oneThey tell you your job is your credit and no credit check will be performed, and will even extend your monthly payments so the note will be cheaperSoon as you hit the parking lot your like a piece a bread and there birds scavenging over you to see how far they can rip you offNone of their sales people are dressed as sales peopleThey all look dirty and not presentable at allThere's desks jammed in each corner in the small office spaces to reel each one inThis is a shady car lot and I'm glad I saved someone for falling for there game and tactics!!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
Regards,  5 Star Autoplex is responsible and will be held responsible, if those additions and full coverage insurance was made to the vehicle because they deceived the customer into believing that he had been approved for financing by [redacted]., and made the customer sign a bogus contract to that effect. If I were informed that I had not yet been approved, that 5 Star Autoplex was still trying to get me financing; I would not have driven the car off the lot, hence paying for insurance. I would have waited until I get an approval before getting the car registered for TNC licensing for [redacted].
Mr. [redacted] is avoiding the issue of affirmative misrepresentation here. 5 Star Autoplex clearly does not want to accept any responsibility for misleading the customer. The information I provided was made on day one, you had that information from the get go, before you asked me to sign a contract claiming I was approved. You can not come back now and say you can not get financing based on that same information. The issue was not about financing, we spoke to [redacted]., it is about 5 Star Autoplex deceptively asking for more money. If we can not agree on the fact that there was misrepresentation and expenses were made due to that malpractice, and that 5 Star Autoplex is going to fix their "mistake" by refunding my down payment and expenses made to the vehicle, then I guess this case is not resolved and I will sort other actions.
Thanks

I spoke with the manager, [redacted], on Tuesday 6-9 and told him that I would compromise and settle for a less expensive car and pay the 20%. The vehicle I would like to purchase is VIN #: [redacted]...$3900.00. He stated that he would review the file and get back to me, but I never received the call back. I can be reached at [redacted].

Mr. [redacted], we made every bit of your buying experience at our dealership excellent.  You actually came back multiple times within several weeks to buy this  2014 [redacted].  We located this truck at 1 of our other dealerships and had it brought to our 290 store so you can test...

drive and make an offer. At no point did we force you to sign any contracts nor did we manipulate you in anyway on the terms.  We got you the best financing available based of your credit application and credit profile 18% is what is what you got approved for you had every opportunity to walk away or dial a friend!!  However you made the decision to give us a $3300 deposit with a balance of $1500 still owed as stated on the contract to buy the truck and was fully aware of all the physical damages once you've seen it and took delivery "AS-IS".  It wasn't until a few days later you decided to go have the truck inspected and come back with minor issues which we agreed to fix and give you a loaner car while the repairs are being done.  You have not made any attempts to bring us the truck to do the repairs.  We have made every effort to resolve this issue but you are not forth coming on your end of the deal.

I do not advise anyone to buy from here. I had been in contact with the dealership for a month to keep them updated about when I would visit the lot. I was assured that I would be able to purchase the vehicle I wanted. On the DAY OF, I received a call from Julio [redacted] stating they would not be able to sell me the car. When I asked why, he replied "the people you spoke with is only trying to sell the car." and "that's their only job." I find it hard to believe that all of you work in such a small office and everyone is not up to date on your policies and procedures? Their job description is not an excuse to DECEIVE the public. He informed me that I could still get a car, but only up to a 2000 - 2007 year range. I was OK with that seeing that they had some interesting vehicles on the website in that range. I made the mistake of trusting his word and coming 45 minutes to Northwest Freeway only for him to tell me I'm only eligible for 2 cars. What happened to cars on the website you ask? They were no where to be found. If you have any other options, take it from me and take your business elsewhere. Do not get your hopes up and waste your time here.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  The response was basically a series of lies, one after another.
1. They make no ones buying experience excellent, mine was terrible, which is the antonym of excellent.
2. I saw it one day and the next day I came with the cash for the down payment to buy it, so there were no "multiple times within several weeks"...
3. The car was there the day I came in to inquire about another model which they had told me they had over the phone and then when I showed up in person after driving for an hour and a half in traffic it was a lie and a trick and the vehicle in question wasn't there. Given that this Ram had just come in from auction they decided to make me test drive it instead, so just another dirty scheme.
4. I have attached the contract and the fake carfax. They manipulated me to sign the contract by making me sign ten other contracts before that one and by hiding the overall financed value, hiding the car value itself and by hiding how much the payments and the interest charge was going to be. The trick is they first run your credit then they try and find out how much you could leave as a down payment then they hide the monthly payments until the very end. There scam is to lie to the bank and the customer and make sure they can tie them both and get payed themselves.
5. They claim I had a chance to "dial a friend!", what is this a game show..?!
6. "$3300 deposit with a balance of $1500 still owed as stated on the contract to buy the truck" unfortunately for them the paperwork shows otherwise and they know and now the bank knows that they claimed to receive $4800 to trick the bank into accepting the deal. I believe a lawyer would agree that this is illegal on several levels.
7. "It wasn't until a few days later you decided to go have the truck inspected" , I actually went the next day after being forced to buy it. And when they discovered the body damage that they had hidden from the carfax, thats when I wanted to just cancel the whole nightmare. Anyone that puts themselves in my situation would agree that the whole experience was tantamount of wolfs preying on the weak. Moreover, the fact that I had to take it to pass the state inspection myself says a lot about the way 5 Star Autopiler conducts its "business"....
8. "We have made every effort to resolve this issue but you are not forth coming on your end of the deal"..... apparently "this new deal" they have created is that I am forced to keep a damaged truck that I payed FULL RETAIL price for that I have to give back to them (immediately after buying from them) to fix the hidden carfax body damage so they can keep all the money and force me to drive an unsafe "secretly" wrecked car without airbags at a 18% APR premium for years to come.

Luckily theres another thing coming for them.

[redacted],
Upon review of your credit bureau and your application we can offer you financing on a vehicle.  However the prices online reflect cash only pricing which is displayed on every vehicle that has a price.  I understand that you want $ 250 per month with...

your $ 1400 down and we can offer you that on select vehicles that you may qualify for with our select lenders.  Our call center is based out of 3 locations and each line rolls over to the next location if not anwsered.  I cannot make excuses for some individuals that are not willing to make an effort to verify with the sales staff if a vehicle is at that location or is still available.  Yes, we are under new management and moving forward to improving our Revdex.com and good customer service.
If I can be of further asisstance please feel free to contact my office and I will do my best to put you in a vehicle at your desired payment.
Thank You,

To whom it may concern
Our contracts are subject to verification's through lenders. Ms [redacted] failed her customer interview and we were informed by the finance company that the contract will be voided. Mr [redacted] worked hard to approve Ms [redacted] through a different lender which he was able to do but with an additional $1600. This complaint comes as a shock to us as we explained to the customer that the reason her contract fell through was that the information she gave the lender on her welcome call did not match the information she provided us on her credit application. We also went the extra mile by replacing an extra two tires which were not promised in the initial agreement and the owner called the lender personally to ask for the initial contract to be honored regardless of the what took place in the verification process. Ms [redacted] is more than welcome to contact her lender or get professional advice from any financial adviser and they will confirm that what 5star autoplex have done for her as a customer is the best they could have done in this situation. We hope this reply changes her opinion of our company because making her a happy customer is our goal and was our goal from the minute she chose to do business with us.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
